What can I say about me? I have two boys who keep me on my toes and a cat who adopted us. She walked in one day and hasn’t left. We might be getting a dog too. Who knows?

I love to read about men in love. Flawed, but strong men, who need some TLC and find their happy ending. I love to write about those same type of men too, sometimes with added kink! I also love to read horrors, thrillers and crime novels.

When I’m not trying to keep my boys in line, or writing about hot sexy men, I like to work on my allotment. I also like to read, to take walks in the countryside, and visit historical places. Recently, we went to Stonehenge and Avebury. It was an amazing experience.

    Denim by Design us part of the multi author series, Model Love. Loved, loved, loved Milo and Stan! They were so sweet together. Milo is younger and a bit more dominant that Stan. But Stan doesn’t want to mix business with pleasure. They have so much chemistry! Age/gap, boss/employee and humorous made this a fantastic story! Well written with pacing that hooked me!

    I would actually give it 3.5 stars. This book was good, but I didn’t like it as much as the others I have read so far in this same series. I like Stan and Milo but I felt like Milo pushed Stan a little too hard. That is something that has bothered me in the past about some “take charge” characters. It is just a pet peeve of mine. It may not bother you so please do not let it prevent you from reading this story. Stan was a sweetheart with an unfortunate ex and never really got a chance to get his head on straight before he met Milo. Milo sees what he wants and goes for it 100% without really giving Stan much of a chance to stop. He doesn’t force Stan; there is no dub con here. I just think Stan got steam rolled a little even though he wanted it too. And Stan does put the brakes on at one point and enforce some distance in order to think. I did enjoy the book, that one factor of it just made me squirm a little and not in a good way. I did read an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

    Not as good as the other authors in the series. The characters are well developed however the rest of it leaves a feeling of a half developed plot, that had a quick Epilogue to replace the author’s lack of knowing how to proceed with the rest of the story. It’s more of a bland “story telling” on the surface, than a good book that draws one in.

    I'm not sure what to say other than this was not a romance to me. I ended up sincerely disliking Stan by the end. His crazy ex ran him in circles while he pushed off Milo. He never EVER steps up... in any way. And spoiler alert....

    Stan tells Milo to take a hike because of the ex drama, Milo takes it then comes back to HIM and Stan still has to be convinced. They aren't together until like three pages before the epilogue. Stan is a wimp and Milo should've found someone better.

    Stan and Milo's story isn't a romance. It's full of hot sexy times and a struggle for Stan because he is being harassed/stalked by a looney of an ex. Their story was a slow build, even if the sexy heat was instant. I liked it! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

    While attending college Milo works his way through as a model. He aspires to be a writer when he is done. Stan is his agent and a cheerleader for his dreams and aspirations. In fact, that is a part of what attracts him to Milo but he tries really hard to resist dating at work and dating a younger guy. But resistance is futile for these two and an evening spent together passionately is the start of something complicated but special between them. Yes, they deal with a few snags but ultimately they are another model love story.
    I received an ARC from GRR and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Stan and Milo sizzle. Milo is definitely a model to love. I don’t often read boss-employee or age-gap stories, but I am glad I gave Denim by Design a try. I really enjoyed it and the boss-employee, age-gap aspects were tastefully addressed and not overdone.

    Actually, what attracted me to this book was the blurb mention of an ex that wouldn’t go away. I migrate toward books with arrogant obnoxious exes that get what they deserve. It is exhilarating to see an MC realize that he deserves better and stand up for himself. Ricardo did not disappoint me. He is one of those characters that I love to hate.

    I couldn’t figure out why Milo was into Stan, and then I realized that the author couldn’t figure out why Milo was with Stan either. Milo kept questioning why he was so attracted, and after a while I couldn’t figure out why anyone was attracted to Stan either. Stan was milquetoast, but after a while I thought Milo was pretty boring too.

Easy to read page-turner with great characters and a fast paced plot. I really enjoyed reading their story and at times laughed so hard, so much going on, wit, humour, steam, and an ex that won't take no for an answer. Guaranteed HEA.
