New Adult Romance author. Reading was my earliest passion, often seeking the sanctuary of my room or the library to read everything I could get my hands on.
I probably drink too much coffee and eat too much junk food, but to compensate do like running and rollerblading outdoors when the weather is nice. I'm a hopeful romantic who prefers stories with a happy ending. You can often find me in a library or coffee shop working on my next story, or with my nose in a book.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2015Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI loved this book & plan on getting the whole series even though I read the 2nd book first!!!!!! Have you written any other books ? If so what are they?
- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2015Format: Kindle3.5 stars. This is a good book with some interesting characters. The story started with three friends Emma, Daniel and Damien. They grew up together and kept their friendship going even through college. Daniel is a businessman and to many a shark. Emma has suffered the loss of her mother and her father has been drinking since losing his wife. Emma's dad let her down and didn't watch out for her. Her dad got into gambling and now owed a lot of money to the mob. Damien cares deeply for Emma and tries to help when it comes to legal matters as he is a lawyer. The mob boss has agreed to wipe out her father's debt if she marries his son, Nick. Emma would do anything for her father especially after he's badly beaten due to his debts. Now Emma is expected to marry a stranger. Daniel and Emma become more than friends but don't tell anyone. This Vol ends soon after this and in order to see what happens you need to read the next Vol. I like the characters and story line but dislike it because I personally dislike serials & cliffhanger. I will say that for someone that is in her mid 20's Emma has a weak character.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2020Format: KindleI'm one of those people who like to read a series from start to finish so thes box set version is perfect for me! That said, I started with the individual title to begin with. Emma has dreamt of designing clothes her whole life. She and her best friends, Daniel and Damion have planned to reach that dream together...until things go horribly wrong. Emma's dad has been drowning his sorrows over the death of his wife for a decade - drinking and gambling away his days and nights... and Emma's future. There is plenty of drama to this story. At times I didn't care for Emma as a character for how she treated Damion, and for how she kept putting herself in the position to be hurt by Daniel, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Nick was a great character to add to the story - definitely more to that bad boy than meets the eye. In the end, the story played out well and I enjoyed it. There were just moments along the way that left me shaking my head. If you happen to get the individual titles, be prepared - each ends with a cliffhanger.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2015Format: KindleAfter learning that the first book finished on a cliff hanger I was anxious to find out what was going to happen next, plus I was really intrigued to find out what Emma's father had to say to her.
As soon as Emma arrived back home she wasn't expecting her dad to have been beaten up and after having a go at him she finally gets some answers, but what shocks her the most is not the drinking and gambling but what the deal he made in order to pay back the debt he owed. When he reveals that she was part of the deal and that she would have to marry one of the bad guys son's, she is not exactly thrilled with the idea but after giving it some thought she feels that the only way to save her father is to go through with it all even though it's going to break her heart. In order for her doing this for her father he has to agree that he is going to try and be a better dad and to stop living in the past.
Emma has got so many thoughts going through her head that she has no idea what she is going to tell Daniel and Damion, but when she gets to the restaurant to meet her friends, it's like she isn't even there.
After much probing to get what's wrong out of her she ends up revealing the truth when Damion decides that he is going to go. The reaction she expected from Daniel is not the one that she gets, instead he doesn't seem to understand why she is willing to agree to the deal that her father made, he thinks that's she is throwing everything away and her being there doing things for him isn't going to make things any better. After trying to reason with him he tells her that if she is willing to go through with all of this and risk her happiness then she can forget about him and he leaves her.
After a long night Emma comes to her senses and realises that she is going to find another way to help save her father just so that she isn't having to give everything for herself. She heads on over to Daniel's office to try and talk to him but she gets a massive surprise when she gets there, as it turns out Daniel came there in the middle of the night took all his belongings and caught a flight to London for a new job. Emma can hardly believe what's happening and ends up calling Damion for help.
Damion finally learns the truth of everything as when he gets to Emma's house she reveals everything including the whole thing about Daniel. Damion is completely understanding about everything and he understands her reasons for her father, he is willing to sit there and be there for when she needs to.
What will Damion make of Daniel leaving him and Emma when they need him the most, and what will happen with their new business. Will Emma be able to figure a way to help her father without having to sacrifice herself.
The only way you are going to find any of this out is if you pick up this book and read it.

Her father Sebastian is a gutter drink who has been lost since the passing of Emma's mom. Now Emma has to decide will she give up all to save her father? Will her remaining member of this trip, Damion, stand by her or run away too?
Cannot wait to begin book 3 and see what happens next.
