Domink's story was one that I knew we would get eventually because this charismatic owner of the Arizona Vengeance is one person who gets what he wants and he has wanted Dax's sister, Willow, for a while now. Boy oh boy has she been putting up a fight.....but as you can guess all her running has come to an end, FINALLY!!! This was a great addition to the series and if you have read any of the past books you know what a great guy Domink is and we find out so much about his life in this book and it was a little sad, but it was mostly rewarding. I loved that he gave so much of his earnings to help others, and he also gave his time which is a big turn on. Willow is a very independent woman but she doesn't mind giving up control in the bedroom which makes things between her and Domink so much more explosive for her. I don't give spoilers in my reviews so I wont, but I can tell you we get a peek at a mission that Jameson Security was working on. This book can be read as a standalone but I would suggest you read the full series in order because Dominik is a major presence in each of the books.     I absolutely loved this book!! I have been waiting very impatiently for Dominik and Willow's turn in the spotlight, and their story did not disappoint in any way.

    Dominik is everything I love in a book boyfriend. His personality is a perfect mix of alpha, caring and compassionate, and protector. He takes care of those he loves despite the fact that his upbringing didn't provide him with stellar family/ examples of love. He is a consummate businessman but with an unexpected background, he does his best to do right by his players despite having to make difficult business decisions, and he does not hesitate to share his wealth with those he deems worthy.

    Willow is the definition of independence. She is a photojournalist who travels the world, taking the assignments she wants on her own terms. She has been hurt by an ex fiance in the past which has put her off relationships entirely, but she cannot deny Dominik makes her want to reconsider that decision.

    They start off on same page but quickly becomes obvious they could be so much more. This sends Willow running scared of course but Dominik doesn't take no for an answer. He pursues her doggedly without being an alpha-hole, and I loved that he was all in on trying to convince her that they deserved a chance at more than just friends with benefits. He has made his billions off ability to read people, and it serves him well most of the time when it comes to Willow. Even when he didn't agree with her, he supported her independence (once he got his mind in the right place). And neither one was shy about their desires or what they wanted.

    They both learn to lean on each other to break through their insecurities- although I have to admit I wanted to smack them both in the head a time or two! She predictably acts to spite anyone who tries to tell her what to do or influence her decision, but she is also quick to acknowledge and correct when she knows she has made a mistake. In one of those knee jerk reactions, Willow gets herself into an extremely dangerous situation, and it is an eye opening moment for both her and Dominik.

    Amidst the relationship drama, the Vengeance is making a run for the Cup so there is some hockey excitement happening too! Dax is in big brother mode as he watches his boss and sister trying to find their footing, and he has a few hilarious missteps and misunderstandings along the way. The other part of this story that I absolutely adored was the way the team's first line really came together as a family unit as much as teammates, and they included Dominik in that camaraderie.

    So all in all, Dominik is a really great read that still has me smiling!! Be sure to get your 1-click finger in action for this book.

    I think this is not my favorite of the series. Ranks similarly to book 1 (Bishop). I felt as though Dominick was a totally one dimensional man-wh*re in the first chapter, only showing his human side to his executive assistant.

    We already know he's much deeper and more caring than that from the other books in the series. And almost immediately in his next chapter, he's done almost a complete 180 with how he feels about Willow. And from that point on, we get what still feels to be a little bit shallow version of the man.

    HOWEVER - I think every chapter is better than the one before and I'm still glad I read this book and got his story. I'm not overly fond of Willow's character. I can't quite put my finger on it but I would have liked to have seen her have a little more emotional depth.

    There are those books that you just wait for and Dominik was definitely one of those for me! We've gotten glimpses of him in previous Arizona Vengeance books and as the owner of the team, you knew that he was going to go after what he wanted regardless of what the stakes were and that he did!

    Dominik Carlson did not have the easiest upbringing. He ended up in the foster care system just as he was about to enter his teens and he remained there until he turned 18. He learned a lot of lessons during that time and when he got to college, he found a way with a buddy to recreate himself and thus turn himself into a billionaire. Now, as the owner of the Arizona Vengeance, he's got his eye on the sister of one of his players and she is having none of it!

    Willow Monahan as independent, fierce and driven as women come. She's a photojournalist who has found her assignments taking her to dangerous locations, but that is part of what she loves about it. She's not had it great where relationships are concerned, so when she is pursued by Dominik, she's definitely attracted, and would be down for bedroom activities, but that's as far as she's willing to go.

    As Dominik and Willow spend time together, their "relationship" starts out as strictly physical, but is it really going to stay that way? They talk, eat and generally enjoy one another's company. Will Dominik be able to break through the walls that she has erected after her last relationship ended?

    These two were amazing. Dominik is willing to fight for what he wants, he's totally alpha and I loved how he knew just how to handle Willow. I also liked how even though Willow was a strong, fierce female, she was also able to see the parts of Dominik that she was able to heal as well. This is a duo that I absolutely loved reading about and it just shows that hearing someone out is one of the most important parts of any relationship. I also loved the tie to the Jameson Force Series that was included in this book. For me, since I've read that series too, it was a nice tie. This is definitely one of my favorites of this series!

    Loved it & love this series. Dominik is a self made man, sexy, strong & dominant. Willow is an adrenaline junky working in dangerous areas around the world & scared of serious because of a past relationship. A chance meeting has Dominik looking twice & doing something he doesn’t do, chase a woman. As we watch the chase we also follow the chase for the cup for the Arizona Vengeance & the continuation of the previous stories. The dominance & submission in this book was great, as Dominik & Willow move from a friends with benefits relationship to a couple. Stubbornness is very strong running through this book & it just might cost Willow her life & Dominik the love of his life. Definitely recommend.

    Fab! I loved this story. Willow Monahan is not your usual beautiful woman. She had a slightly dangerous job as a photographer who travels the world to get those photos that capture important moments, and she has no desire to settle down.

    When Dominik Carlson meets Willow he feels he has met his match. Neither are looking for anything serious and are just out to have no strings fun. Neither of them see what is coming when things change between them.

    A very smooth rolling story, which feels like it is going too simple, then you are knocked sideways! Great writing.

    You know you’ve got it bad for a book when you preorder it and read it on release day! Dominik Carlson is the billionaire businessman owner of the Arizona Vengeance. Willow Monahan is a photographic journalist and the sister of Dax (one of the Vengeance star players). She totally rocks his world but she’s stubbornly independent and opposed to relationships and she’s mostly ignoring him. He can’t understand why she’s not interested as they’ve shared some earth-shattering time together. They agreed on having an arrangement where their feelings wouldn’t be involved, but over time it’s turned into a bit more than that. There’s no way that Willow wants to give up any of her independence. He’s an alpha and relentless and he’s used to always getting what he wants. I absolutely love that he’s the one who has to do the chasing!
