Love’s power to heal

Zoey and Ty are back with this sequel and boy is it a treat for your ears while hitting some major emotion as the audiobook unfolds.
“Everything between you and me is real. It’s always been real” and that is the one thing that is something that had always held true for Zoey and Ty but there are some cracks that are starting to develop that both, at the beginning, are not willing to address and keep rationalizing away. However, will pushing off those feelings lead to another obstacle that their relationship will have to face or destroy it completely? Gregory Salinas’ portrayal of Ty is one that I could listen to repeatedly. He has a gift for taking Ty’s struggle and bringing the rawness that it needs to evoke the pain that his character goes through creating a visceral emotional response to his inner conflict. Sophie Daniels matches the intensity of Zoey’s character bringing forth her insecurities as she deals with her feelings towards the situation with Ty. Through everything they go through, the one constant is their love for each other that is where they pull strength from. Ms. Winter has penned a wonderful, heartbreaking storyline that will have anyone believing in the power of love.

Absolutely love

I love this series so much. I love how Kaylene writes well rounded human characters with real heavy human issues.
I think it makes the story that much more impactful. I appreciate the mental health representation. I was so excited for Encore, because I really enjoyed these characters so to get more of them is awesome. The narrators do such a good job of bringing these characters to life and elevating an already spectacular story.

Emotional Encore

Kaylene Winter’s audiobook, Endless - Encore: Ty & Zoey is book 5 in her Less Than Zero series. I was really excited to discover this book since I thoroughly enjoyed reviewing the first four audiobooks in this series. I loved all of the Less Than Zero couples and was happy to be able to visit with them again. This book is a continuation of Ty and Zoey’s story from the end of book four. It focuses on Ty and Zoey’s relationship after their engagement and most of a year spent traveling and enjoying each other. The one year hiatus is almost up and real life starts to intrude in their bliss. They start to consider marriage, family, returning to work, and other real life events and the impact that they have in Ty and Zoey as individuals and as a couple. All of the Less Than Zero band members have families to care for and other obligations that complicates their return to recording and performing. Ty and Zoey’s happily ever after is challenged by events from Ty’s past, and they have to figure out whether they can weather the storm that follows. This was a great addition to the series, which I understand will eventually include an epilogue for each couple. Listeners should check for trigger warnings as there is discussion of severe child abuse and mental illness. I think the author handled the subjects well, representing the impact that stigma can have on an individual’s self-worth and willingness to stay in treatment. The narrators return and do a good job of representing this couple. I definitely recommend this rockstar romance audiobook for fans of the series, but do not recommend starting the series at this point. There are too many events that had occurred prior to the beginning of this book to keep up without a familiarity with the previous books. I am voluntarily submitting this review after listening to an advanced complementary copy of this audiobook thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and Rockstar Romance LLC.
