Engagement Rate: A Billionaire Office Romance (Callaghan Green Series Book 1) Kindle Edition
I shouldn’t be noticing how he wears a suit or thinking about what his hair looks like in the mornings. Instead, I’m meant to be sticking to just three things:
Growing my marketing business Buying my cheating, arrogant ex out of said business Never getting involved with anyone I work with. Ever. Again.
London, England. The residence of the queen, suited City boys and the man who won’t give up: Jackson Callaghan. With his tattoos and a talent for charming, he’s set his sights on one thing other than his career – me.
Just one night won’t hurt, will it? A simple hook up isn’t really breaking my own rules.
But what happens when a hook up leaves you hooked?
ENGAGEMENT RATE is a steamy office romance with no cheating and a happily ever after. It's the first book in the CALLAGHAN GREEN SERIES, set in London, England.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2025This was a new author to me. And I really enjoyed this first book of hers that I've read. I plan to go looking for more. It really kept me involved, if characters were very real, the plot was good, and the pace was fast and smooth. All the things I look for in a good book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2024A great story and a fun read with unexpected pops of laughs every so often. My only critique
Is the ridiculous annoying conflict at the end that did not fit the rest of the story. But the other 99%
Of the story was great !
- Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2024This was a fun book, it covered all aspects of drama, anxiety and love . I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, as I am sure many others will too!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2018But the grammer and pronoun errors were overwhelming. For example, Jackson's father is sometimes referred to as Ed and sometimes as Grant .... how can you not get the character's name correctly. Other times, pronouns and articles are thrown in as if they were tossed in as an after thought.
The story and characters were good. Please do a better job of editing in the future.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2020This book held me captive from the moment I opened it. This is the first book in the Callaghan series. If the rest of the series is as good as this one I’m in for a treat.
Jackson is the new managing partner of his family’s law practice. He’s commanding, smart, handsome and driven. With the firm taking on new direction they are looking to update their marketing and advertising. Enter Vanessa Moore, part owner and head of operations at Cole Henderson. Vanessa is creative, beautiful, a stand on her own kind of women. Besides her qualities, she has her own set of issues. Together these two hit it off even with their dominant personalities and issues.
As if all this isn’t enough we get to meet the rest of the family and friends that add to the delightfulness of this story. This story will bring smiles, tears, aww moments and unbelievable heat.
I said in the beginning that this is a series and if this is the beginning I can’t wait to see what the other books bring.

I read things a bit out of order with this series as I found a couple of the later books first. However, I was definitely interested in going back to get Jackson and Vanessa's story.
There's drama, lots of family, and, of course, romance. Engagement Rate is a solid debut book and a great introduction to the Callaghan family.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2018Wow, this book should come with a fan. One of the things I love the most about "Engagement Rate" is the characters. The whole Callaghan family is so well developed that I felt they were people I've encountered. I dare readers not to hate Richard the dick. I dare readers not to adore Gran. And of course, I promise everyone will cheer for the pairing of Vanessa and Jackson.
One of the most undersold parts of this book is the setting. Every glimpse of London is a little like a love letter and I found myself picturing the view from Vanessa's and Sophie's window with a bit of longing. Plenty of romance authors manage relationships well enough, but there are very few who can make you pine to see a place you've never had the pleasure of visiting.
Annie Dyer has promised this is book one with a romance for each sibling still in the works. I can't wait to see which one comes next. I vote for Max next. No, wait, Claire. Nevermind, I'll read them all again and again.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2018I loved all the characters in this book which was a good read. It was well written and funny and just so entertaining. There wasn't a moment that I wanted to put this book down. Jackson and Vanessa just had an attraction towards each other from the first time they met in the gym and then when they were at breakfast together but neither of them wanted more or at least tried to fool themselves into believing that.

2.0 out of 5 stars trop des fautes de frappe…
cela aurait pu être un bon livre… sans les nombreuses fautes de frappe, les phrases inachevées et les mots manquants...

4.0 out of 5 stars leuk, luchtig, vlot geschreven boek
Klassiek romanthema in een modern, vlot jasje, met leuke, humorvolle dialogen en de sexbeschrijvingen gedoseerd. Wel wat taalfouten, maar zeker aanrader
