When fate throws another twist their way, she's faced with a choice she never thought she'd have to make. Is there still a chance for all her dreams to come true, on and off the ice?
Will Mia manage to get the happy ending that Amy never did? When she's given the choice, which life will she choose?

About the author

If you're looking for romance, you've come to the right place! I started reading romance novels in my early teens and writing them soon afterwards; growing up in small towns in western Canada, there wasn't much else to do! Luckily those early stories have never seen the light of day. :) Now I live in the UK with my husband and daughter and spend my free time diving into magical or just romantic settings where true love (almost) always wins. - Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2024Clean and refreshing. If you like figure skating you will like this one. It is light hearted but the author did a great job writing the emotions of each character.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2021So I really like these books. The characters were great, the drama was good but not too much drama cause I really can’t stand over the top drama and angst. The only real reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that this book felt really short and I feel like this duet could have easily just been one book. But would definitely recommend! Especially if you have KU.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2021You must read It figures before you read this book as you need the history before you understand the present. Amelia gets a blast from her past as she is now the choreographer for Austin and Grace. They finally have a chance to talk and clear the air. However, as she prepares to travel with Austin and Grace for their first performance of her choreographed dance, the reader can sense the excitement and hidden feelings. She is keeping things professional after Austin’s reveal but struggling with her own jealousy. Things get twisted in Japan. I was really surprised by the turn of events in the book. But I absolutely love how it ended.
This book isn’t as emotional as the first book. Yes, some truths come to light, but they aren’t as disappointing to the reader. Amy is brave, intelligent, and talented, and it really shines in the pages of this story. Austin is obviously a little lovesick, but he does manage to focus when it is crucial. This story was more about dreams and what someone might do to accomplish theirs. I was surprised by the turn of events and the progression the book took after. I really enjoyed this story. It was inspirational, definitely romantic, and even included a steamy scene or two. The characters really had a connection the reader could feel and imagine as the story continued. This was a fantastic romantic read.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2022I loved part 1 and part 2 of this romance.
If you like romance it's a wonderful story about a couple that despite being tragically torn apart find their way back to each other.
I personally always enjoy getting to read romances from both perspectives but if you don't enjoy switching perspectives then it may not be your thing. I enjoyed both perspectives equally.
I don't want to give away any spoilers so I can't go into any specifics but I enjoyed that this story was different in a lot of ways than other romances that I have read. The drama and challenges did not play out like I expected every time so it was refreshing to have similar dramatic situations play out differently in the best way.
Obviously this is purely my opinion and based on the romances I like and also I do not take into account realism when it comes to romances since it is not ever going to be completely realistic. It will always be a mix of realistic and just plain ridiculous out there fantasy romantic ideals. This one just happens to be a good mix in my opinion. Hope lots of other people out there enjoy it just as much as I did!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2023Wasn’t that the sweetest pile of marshmallows and rainbows I’ve ever read! Loved the story, really loved learning about ice dancing and omg such a beautiful epilogue, I even teared up a bit!
Note: this is clean, almost disgustingly so, he is so sweat and polite and respectful and patient. Like he thought someone was trying to cut his lunch and he let her explain herself, WHAT!!! Clean YA is so not my scene normally, but TikTok made me do it and I really enjoyed my trip into beautiful land. Melody is a lovely writer so no regrets :)
- Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2022This was a cute book and duet series. This book was 3.5 stars because the ending felt rushed. Overall, I'd give the series 4 stars.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2023Thank everything they worked their story out. I am so happy that they got to not only fall in love but also skate together again and win for themselves.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2022There’s was a lot of emotion I wasn’t expecting playing it really close to the belt and I’m happy with the amount of communication that was going on making for a real healthy relationship and watching all the happy endings happen as they should. Although I felt it was a bit rushed at some points I’m happy where this story took me for the long run and I hope other readers do too.

5.0 out of 5 stars I had to binge this in one sitting
I started with it figures and just needed to know what happened next. I always love a HEA and was rooting for the two of them. I really loved the dynamic of their relationship and how supportive they are of each other.

4.0 out of 5 stars Melhor que o 1

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful
I found these books a while back and placed them in my TBR pile, I found them both beautiful, though I don't know much about ice skating, I'm from an era of Torvill and Dean, so I pictured them in the story, on the ice. It was very enjoyable, beautifully written and I felt emerged in the book, hating parents, feeling frustrated, but also empathy.
