About the authors
CM Angus author and writer of Speculative fiction, Sci-fi and Horror grew up in the North East of England and now lives in Yorkshire with his wife and children. He is interested in all things creative & technological.
Currently working on Fixpoint, a series of books with each piece tackling different aspects of discontinuities in time and is a Speculative Fiction spanning 4 generations of a family haunted by the prospect of an approaching alternate reality where their child has been erased from history.
Overstrike, Volume 1 of Fixpoint, was published by Elsewhen Press in 2020.
Joseph was born in Nottinghamshire in 1990. After moving to several different areas around the country, he now resides in Peterborough and works as a registered veterinary nurse in a busy practice. A passion for reading and writing lead Joseph to pen his first book "The Sanguine Lamb" in early 2018 with plans to continue the series with another two volumes and various side stories. He followed his passion of the dark an macabre, branching into horror titles and other, weirder works of literature.
John Hoggard has been writing for as long as he can remember, his first publishing successes coming in the Hartlepool Mail "Chipper Club" aged 6. Since then he's continued to write mainly in the Science-Fiction and Fantasy genres, winning prizes for his "fan-fic" of the Star Trek franchise in his twenties at the various Conventions he attended.
In June 2012 John won the Biting Duck Press "Science in Fiction" Short Story Competition. (It helps that John has degrees in Physics and Computer Science)
In November 2012, John's SF short story Baby Babble was included in the Anthology Fusion by Fantastic Books Publishing.
In October 2014 John contributed two pieces of flash fiction to a charity horror anthology, Ten Deadly Tales.
In May 2016, John's had two SF short stories All in the Mind and The House was included in the Anthology Synthesis also by Fantastic Books Publishing.
John was most recently published in the horror anthology '666', where his 666-word story 'Headhunted' was highly commended by the editors of the anthology.

Alan's latest work is the science fiction novel 'A Suggestion in Space' published by Fantastic Books Publishing. It's an interstellar adventure with love, coming of age, secrets and surprises, tragedy and joy.
In 2017 Alan won the Julia Bradbury prize for capturing the spirit of the Wolds with his short story ‘Trains of Thought’ which was also published by Fantastic Books Publishing in the collection ‘Dreaming of Steam.’ Since then they have published four further stories of his in their anthologies.
Working as a chemical engineer and taking a keen interest in science and astronomy has helped him to put his science fiction in realistic settings with believable technology even if it hasn’t been invented yet and he always enjoys including the human side of any story as well.
Retiring in 2020 from an industrial career has given him more time to pursue his writing.
He lives in England with his wife Jane. They have three children and three grandchildren.
