- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2017A kingdom, a curse. A young ten-year-old boy/prince taken by his father to the Kingdom of the North so he can break the curse. Along the way the dragon tells him he's not the one. At the palace his 'dead' grandfather tells him he's not the one. The one who cursed the kingdom, Yuki-Musume, tells him he's not the one. So, who is?
- Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2018Format: KindleI didn’t love this one quite the same as I did previously. I thought the ending was a little too rushed, but it was interesting to see Mica in his mother’s homeland.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2017This is also a nice short fairytale about a 10 year old boy who doesn’t like the cold trying to break a spell. Mica likes the warm water and weather of the South and is always cold in the North. He never seems to be able to get warm. Several people and a dragon tell him he is not the curse breaker, and he doesn’t know what to do. Once again, the author tells a simple story that flows. However, I would like to know what happened to the dragon, and what was his significance, or why he was a part of the story, or why he had knowledge of the curse in the first place. Who is this dragon?

- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2018Format: KindleSweet story that is reminiscent of fairy tales I was read as a child. I look forward to the next book to see what happens next.
