Natalina wrote her first romance in collaboration with her best friend at the age of 13. Since then she has ventured into other genres, but romance is first and foremost in almost everything she writes.

After earning a degree in tourism and foreign languages, she worked as a tourist guide in her native Portugal for a short time before moving to the United States. She lived in three continents and a few islands, and her knack for languages and linguistics led her to a master’s degree in education. She lives in Virginia where she has taught English as a Second Language to elementary school children for more years than she cares to admit.

Natalina doesn’t believe you can have too many books or too much coffee. Art and dance make her happy and she is pretty sure she could survive on lobster and bananas alone. When she is not writing or stressing over lesson plans, she shares her life with her husband and two adult sons.

This story is Truly worth the read! I'm not big on romance, but everything in this story was so Incredibly well developed that it all just flowed to perfection. I was shocked by the final chapters, not expecting what took place, but it was done well. There's love, loyalty, action and mystery rooted in this beautiful story. My only complaint is it ended with no book 2 or 3 mentioned. The ending leaves some questions open. You will enjoy the depths of the true relationship between friends, lover and family put forward in this story.

Foxy Tails was an interesting story, seemingly based around chinese mythiology, I found that part very interesting.

This book took quite a while to pull me in so as I was fully engaged, probably over the 40% mark, if the first part of the book had engaged me as well as the second part it would have been a solid 4 star read for me. It really wasn't until they set off on their quest to find Healer's source that I was fully invested in the lives of Healer, Huli and Ling LIng oh and of course the dog Ye Ying.

There was magic, shifters and spiritualism along with danger and intrigue.

I enjoyed finding out about their pasts and how they all finally connected, the romance between Huli and Healer was a fated mate kind of connection and was very sweet. I liked the intrigue behind all the events and the book ended leaving me hoping that there will be a sequel so as I can find out more about their fight for justice.

A fox, healer and a warrior bound by fate. 3 very different personalities come together as friends and go on quest. Secrets are revealed and so is a prophecy. Oh! And there is a dog. But, is he really just a dog...?

Right off the bat, I chose this book based only on the cover. I have never read anything by this writer, so I went in blind.

Not gonna lie, this book is stiff and hard to read at times. Not because of the subject matter, but because of how this was written.

It was like it was trying to be like Lord of the Ring, but with an Asian flair.

If you can get past that, then its an ok story.

So in here we have Huli and Xiao Ying and the rest of their merry crew.

Things happen, they fall in love, meet a dragon dad, get through a really dysfunctional family/town, and make it so that Huli did not need to hide.

All in all, not a bad read.

I enjoyed this story and this definitely sets up the start of a new series. Fox is always on the run for being partly demon and has made friends with a female warrior. These two are kind of just going about their daily life when they cross paths with a healer on the hunt for justice. The plot itself is slow and steady and I wasn't able to quickly push through this one (though I think that may be due to the writing style). It's told in 3rd person but from two POVs. However, it takes a while before we get the story from the healer's view. I think these were some fun characters, and they came across some battles and interesting occurrences on their journey. I think this one would be for those who love the old Chinese or Korean dramas as it has that feel to the story telling. There is a bit of romance between Fox and Healer and I liked how these two fit together.

Why did I wait so long to read this book?! This was such a great story. I enjoyed the magical elements and the mystery behind the deaths of both Huli and Xiao Ying's families. I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens next. I hope it comes out soon.

Huli has known very little in his life except for hatred and running for his life. He is a fox with nine tails, considered to be a demon who should be hunted and killed. Meeting Xiao Ying, a divine healer, changed his life. Finding acceptance and purpose with him, the two along with Ling Ling, travel together to find evidence that Xiao Ying has been seeking to bring his family’s murderer to justice. Along the way, all three find some truths they never expected.

Foxy Tails does leave us with some questions which will hopefully be answered in the future. IF not, we all have great imaginations. The world building was incredibly well done and the dog added so much. Huli had major issues with self-worth and self-confidence. Having spent a great deal of his life being chased and reviled, it is no wonder. Xiao Ying spent most of his life living alone and concentrating on finding the ones responsible for the murder of his family. When the two combine forces along with Ling Ling, Huli’s best friend, they find some truly unexpected things. It was amazing how it all come together in the end showing that Natalina Reis is an incredibly gifted story teller.

Huli is a nine tailed fox demon that is hunted because of that and does what he must to survive.

Xiao Ying returns home to a family of healers to find them all murdered and vows to avenge them. This causes him to seek evidence he needs and not letting anything stand in his way until he meets a certain nine tailed demon.

After reading Afflicted Love, this was in a different genre of M/M novels. I really needed that after such an emotional read.

I enjoyed the different POVs but I loved the story in general. There were some funny moments but the romance, of course, is what hooked me the most. I wanted to know how Huli and Xiao Ying would get to that point and how the confession would go. How the journey would bring them close together.

It was fun read and I may read it again.
