Gifts With No Giver: A Love Affair With Truth Kindle Edition
Here is a sample poem:
truth is too simple for words
before thought gets tangled up in nouns and verbs
there is a wordless sound
a deep breathless sigh
of overwhelming relief
to find the end of fiction
in this ordinary
yet extraordinary moment
when words are recognized
as words
and truth is recognized
as everything else

Review
"So much like a modern day Rumi. I understand most of Rumi but sometimes have to be in a meditative mood in order to get it. Not so with this very lovely clearly written piece of work . Thank you so much for the opportunity. I have already mentioned this book to one of the other writers in my Visionary poets class" - Amazon customer
From the Back Cover
I only want to be with her
I cannot stand to be apart
I would gladly go to the ends of the earth
or I would never again move from this spot
just to be sure to inhale her fragrant perfume
with my dying breath
I have fallen in love with truth
her every wish my command
I simply must obey
for she has captured my soul
and taken complete control
of even my innermost thoughts
freeing me to find repose
in her unadorned splendor
I have fallen in love with truth
with exquisite tenderness she shows me
the perfection in my every flaw
no need for pretense
for she knows everything about me
and yet takes me in her arms
with complete abandon
until only she remains

About the author

Who are you really? Are you your body. mind and personality? Or are you the spacious awareness in which they appear? Nirmala offers a unique vision and a gentle, compassionate approach, which adds to this rich tradition of inquiry into the truth of Being. He also offers Nondual Spiritual Mentoring, or spiritual guidance, in one-on-one sessions either in person or over the phone. More information about mentoring sessions is here: http://endless-satsang.com/spiritual-guidance-mentoring.htm
"The beauty of this collection of Nirmala's talks and dialogues is that it covers much of the spectrum of spiritual awakening, from the initial experience of one's true nature to the practical challenges, which always call for a deeper seeing and deeper understanding of how spirit manifests as all of life and beyond. Within these talks and dialogues you, the reader, will find Nirmala to be a living invitation to look within. Nirmala welcomes whatever arises within the field of experience. In the midst of this welcoming is always an invitation to inquire deeply within, to the core of who and what you are. Again and again, Nirmala points the questions back to the questioner and beyond to the very source of existence itself--to the faceless awareness that holds both the question and the questioner in a timeless embrace." -from the Foreword by Adyashanti to Nirmala's book, Nothing Personal.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2019This book was ordered back in 2017, and was inordinately downloaded as a PDF on my PC. I looked for it on my tablet, but it never showed up. Today I found it on my Notebook! Hooray! This is a lovely companion to Nirmala's other books, which I read every week. His words are very comforting.

I'll find a favorite, and then another. There is so much love and truth in them. I will cherish this book forever.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2013i will put this in the middle. at fairly regular intervals, an epiphany, i mean a great one, not sticky...then a bunch of crap. it balances out to a 3.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2024I was expecting to read an inspirational story about what someone went through. However, what I read was inspirational in itself. I'm sure in some way it was about losing and finding himself during the loss. It's a good read.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2013This volume of poems can be used as a gateway beyond the narrative of daily life where now words become the symbols of the Divine. How lovely that we can share this experience; for even if you read this book as you sit alone on the beach, you come to know that you are connected to everyone and ultimately to Something much larger.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2013I feel eons above the mundane world when I ready from this book. But it helps a person to feel firmly planted on the ground. Nirmala has a way of showing the beautiful through all the mundane of life. I love this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful book. Inspiring, heart opening and soul connecting.
Words cannot convey how much I was moved by this beautiful book. I'll be trading all of Nirmala's book as I find him deeply inspiring and sincere.
Will also subscribe to his newsletter and it's my wish that one day our paths cross and we can meet in person, maybe at a retreat or something similar.
I'm deeply grateful to have had this book finding my way as it has brought immense heart and soul value.
