About the author

Sundari Venkatraman is an Indie Author who has 68 books to her credit. These books have consistently featured in the Top 100 Bestseller Lists on Amazon India, Amazon USA, Amazon UK, Amazon Canada and Amazon Australia in both romance as well as Asian Drama categories. Her latest hot romances have all been on #1 Bestseller slot in Amazon India for over a month.
These days, the author is independently publishing her novels in paperback format under her banner Flaming Sun, printed and distributed by Notion Press.
Even as a child, Sundari absolutely loved the ‘lived happily ever after’ syndrome and she grew up on a steady diet of fairy tales, Phantom comics and Mandrake comics. It was always about good triumphing over evil and a happy ending after the protagonists surmounted all unexpected obstacles.
Once she entered her teens, Sundari switched her loyalties from fairy tales to Mills & Boon. While she loved reading both of these, she kept visualising what would have happened if there were similar situations happening in India; to local heroes and heroines. And of course, the joy of vanquishing the ubiquitous evil villains! Her imagination soared and she happily ensconced herself in a rosy romantic cocoon for many years.
Then came the writing—a true bolt from the blue! And Sundari Venkatraman has never looked back.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2020Good read! I am a huge fan of this author and I have read most of her books. Throughly enjoyed this book as well. Can’t wait for the next book in this series to be out!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2020Gobsmacked first of all had me wondering about the title of the book. At first, I really did wonder why the author would choose such a title. After reading the book, I was gobsmacked. This book, I would not say is just a simple romance. It brings forth many sensitivity of relationships A relationship between a man and a woman is so sensitive that sometimes even a thought process can separate them. At that moment of time, only the strength of your relationship can bring two souls together. And Sundari has brought this theory in her story. When Radhika and Amit fall in love, they knew never knew that they had to fight against those who are closest to them. How the couple over this without losing their love and dignity is what makes this story beautiful.

4.0 out of 5 stars An entertaining read!
Gobsmacked is a hot romance penned down by Sundari Venkatraman. Amit was helping his friend Ameya in faking his kidnapping to show it as one of the infamous groom kidnappings that happen in Bihar. The plan was to help Ameya marry the love of his life, little did Amit expect to fall in love with bride's younger sister Radhika.
Gobsmacked ranks high when it comes to serving a hot and innocent, sweet romantic tale but in other aspects, it is very typical and predictable. The writing style is simple and the characters are nicely penned down. I could connect with Radhika's character the most.
The climax is full of drama, the whole book is quite dramatic which to be honest was quite amusing to read. The intimate scenes are very well written and are full of passion. Overall, Gobsmacked is a good book which will keep you entertained.

3.0 out of 5 stars A one time read
The book Gobsmacked by Sundari Venkatraman is the second book in the groom series. Since I had read the first one, this one had links to the earlier book, but can also be read as stand alone book.
What I liked about the book is,the letter, the revenge being the best part of the book. To have a friend like Ameya,is again best.
The book didn't wow me like I expected. Since I have read multiple books from the author,I felt a bit let down by the book. To be honest I laughed at the revenge, cringed at comments, but this book for me is definitely a one time read.
Overall a good one time read

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice read
This is my third book of the author.
I Started this book with an excitement and that excitement lasted till the last page.Amit and Radhika fell In love within short time .Amit is from an effluent family, while Radhika is from a poor family. She had many dreams like
she wanted to do something for her village. She wanted to work for women empowerment.
Soon, Radhika and Amith got married .
Her father in law is very nice person, he accepts Radhika as his daughter in law , and he liked her too.
But mother in law is an devil.
She did not like Radhika.
She always taunted her like an evil person.
When Radhika leaves for work, his mother plays a double role as in she plays a double game so that Radhika and Amit chemistry breaks.
EventuallyRadhika loses her patience due to bad treatment by her mother in law which she couldn't bear any more .
So one fine day she leaves her home and Amith never gets to know the real reason why she left
Radhika and Amith stayed separated for 22 months .
They didn't talk ,communicate or encounter each other due to their ego.
Every story has a twist right ?
If the story is casual no one will read.
Here at this situation something happens.
To get to know more about it just go and grab the book.
The language style is simple and easy to understand.
Narration is gripping .
