    Reading is a joy. Although, I don't normally read a series, I did get totally immersed into the story of Marie and Masen. They were thrown together and married. Both witnessed many betrayals and losses. But they found each other. This series was written only in Marie's voice telling their story. It was rich with love on both sides. But they were always looking over their shoulders, so to speak. Where was the next danger coming from? How can some people be so evil? They both had a strong faith in their religious beliefs and cared about their people. I really enjoyed reading this series. I found myself searching for my Kleenex box at the end. Enjoy.

    How is it possible I could fall more in love with Mazen and Marie? Leave it to Rose to suck you in even more. Let me explain; I was visiting family in TN when I finally received Golden Chains. Needless to say I spent at the very least 75% of said visit in my vehicle reading! Yep I am the worst sister in law ever BUT I could not put it down. Several times I did get out because I had to have a smoke. I was always at a critical point and was so nervous I had to take a break! I was literally too scared to read at that moment, hence a smoke.
    This final chapter the the Colorblind Trilogy is well worth the wait. Be warned Rose will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. Lol I loved it. There is so much I loved about this book. You will feel the heartache, pain, joy and love this King and Queen go through. You feel part of this kingdom and the struggle to be one. A big thank you to Rose for opening my eyes to various issues and I’m so proud to be apart of this. Amazing ending to a great trilogy. I sad the story of Mazen and Marie has come to an end but Wow what a ending. I can’t say enough about this book. You just have to read it for yourself.

    Where do I even begin...
    So first of all this whole series took all my time. It was that good. I think the author outdone herself. I love the whole story, it's beautifully written. I was captivated from chapter 1 of the first book. Now am looking forward to read more books that Rose wrote. I also admire the way she has described and respected both religions in this story.     This is the first series in a long time that absolutely consumed me. I read the series in less than 2 days because I could NOT stop till I knew what happened. I absolutely loved it!!! I was in tears for most of book 3. Although the end seemed rushed and left me with a few questions about Joseph and if he was saved in the end or not. I think that was the part that broke me the most. Thank you for this amazing series and I hope to read more like this in the future. I loved how it educates you on a religion while you fall in love with the characters!

    Have you ever read a book or a series that you've completely fallen in love with the characters? You're so excited to learn what happens to the characters and you eagerly read voraciously until you've finished the book, only to feel a strong sense of lethargy, disbelief that the story has finally concluded, and questioning how you'll be emotionally able to invest in a new series after this one. The wait was well worth it.

    Rose M ashal is such a talented storyteller and her talent and ability to make you fall in love with her multidimensional characters is amazing. I am an avid reader and I've read a lot of really crappy books just to pass the time. This series totally enraptured me and made me really wish and believe that the story was true. Golden Chains is a perfect conclusion to this trilogy, as it really showed the characters' growth as they navigated some really challenging obstacles. There are so many twists, turns and surprises that made me gasp, yell, want to throw my phone, and cry. I literally laughed out loud at parts! There were very few editing errors which is commendable with such a long book. I really look forward to reading the spin off books that will tell more stories about this fictional kingdom that is so well written that you can believe that it's real.

    This book made me cry, scream, laugh, want to throw my kindle at the wall... but that's just Rose for you. It's difficult to write a review without spoiling everything but I'll try.

    The way Rose writes and envisions the characters and story in her head is just amazing. This ending to the series exceeded my expectations. It was so great to see Marie and Mazen fall into their roles as king and queen and moving into a new phase of their marriage. But as always, things always get complicated and enemies get in the way of things. However, they are able to find strength within themselves and as a couple, to overcome it all. It was beautiful to see. My favorite thing, however, is how the author opened my eyes to a new religion and culture and taught me so many things. I feel like I found my black keys just like Marie did.

    I wish Rose never abandons these characters. There are so many other storylines waiting to be explored. I would read 20 more books about Alfaidya. Im excited to read aything new of hers.

With customs to much for Marie Mazen helps guide her as queen to bring new laws but, with change comes challenges. The some not liking the new ideas and clinging to old. Turmoil fills the country side and evil floats to the surface. Marie is the target, putting her and Mazen in danger. A great book to the end of the trilogy. Plus the sneak peek of Joseph returns s makes you think more is to come.
