For Dr Kate Beaven-Marks, an interest in how people communicate, both with themselves and others, has been a thread running through her entire career. Her earliest teaching roles led into over 20 years operational and strategic experience as a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and Certified Risk Professional. During this time, she widened her understanding of the influences of communication on individual and interpersonal performance. Keen to share this knowledge, her work as a speaker, educator and corporate trainer, both in the UK and internationally, has been extensive, having worked with heavy industry, local government, healthcare services and Further and Higher Education, to name but a few sectors.
Kate is also a highly experienced and extensively qualified clinical hypnotist and Master Practitioner of NLP, with advanced degrees in management, psychology and education, and a considerable number of hypnotherapy specialisms and advanced trainings. Kate has a Doctorate of Education, based upon the educational aspects of hypnosis from a professionalism perspective. As part of the research for her Doctorate, she completed training with many (200+) international hypnosis, hypnotherapy and related training providers and has a personal library of hypnosis-related books that would make even the most avid enthusiast rather jealous. This makes her one of the most well-rounded, highly qualified hypnotherapists/hypnotherapy trainers in the UK today.
Kate is an energetic and enthusiastic trainer, with a cumulative theoretical and practical knowledge of communication, hypnosis and therapy that would be difficult to surpass. Her passion for the subject goes above and beyond anything seen with your run-of-the-mill hypnotherapy trainers. She is an exceptionally talented, honest and approachable expert in the field of hypnosis and communication.
She is a founding director of 'HypnoTC: The Hypnotherapy Training Company, one of the UK's top hypnotherapy training schools and has written widely on wellbeing and hypnotherapy. She has been published and featured in a number of leading magazines, journals and newspapers, including Men's Health, the Daily Mail and the Sunday Times.
