    I’ve loved each book in this series and was excited to read Baze’s story. We’re not the only ones who find out more about him in this book. His relationship with Penelope and her knowledge of shifter culture reveals some surprising information to this group, which will change the whole dynamics of the pack. I loved the two of them together, the romance and friendship that blossomed as they reconnected and got to know each other after such a long separation was so lovely. Baze’s possessive growly moments were hysterical but we also got to see his more brutal side as he and the rest of his St. Leasing family fight together to take down their common enemy. Heart Stopping is funny and sweet, sexy and suspenseful and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    This was my favorite book in the series by far... and I loved the first three. I had never read a shifter book before I read Dom’s book, but couldn’t download Lic and Keller’s books fast enough. I have tried other shifter series, but realized it’s not the genre that I like, it’s this author. LP Maxa knows the perfect balance between sexy, funny, sarcastic and suspense. What a great read! I hope the week for St Leasing Book 5 isn’t too long.

This ragtag so-called pack of shifters will win your heart over. Every character in this book is so full of personality it feels as if they are real Fall in love with the caring, laugh along with the humor and gasp when it is all revealed. This is truly one remarkable book. The whole St. Leasing series is a must read!

    It feels like a waited years for this book (and most did)... It was incredibly sweet and romantic, in a way that I wasn't expecting it to be and it made me love Baze and Penelope even more! We see our beloved st. Leasing crew at their most vulnerable yet strong moments, I loved how we got to see the packs dinamic evolved and how we see a bit of each characters growth in this book. It was Definetly worth the wait. This is most Definetly my favorite book by L.P. Maxa! May the next generation take a page from Baze and Penelopes book!

    When I first found this author, St Leasing were the first books of hers that I read. Afterwards, I searched out everything else that she had written in read that too.

    When I completed her back list , I researched her on the internet and found her email address. Then, I wrote to an author for the first time. I complimented her on her writing and wanted to know when the next book was coming out.

    For this series in particular there was a wait for the next book and then another wait for this story. But //all of the waiting// was worth it!!! I devoured this story without putting it down. I was so pleased to see that it released a couple days early and I loved it from page one until the end. There is an interesting story arc throughout the series that needed a conclusion and boy did LP Maxa give us an amazing story.

    These are the only shifter books I've ever read, it's not my normal sub-genre. But I went into the first one not realizing it was a shifter book and I fell in love with this group of guys. Seeing each of them get their story, find their mate and become a pack has been an amazing journey for me as a reader. I simply cannot recommend this series enough.

    The story contained within this book: Baze and his mate Pen was interesting and well-developed. There was anticipation and suspense as they work together to take Franklin down. The additional character development for all of the pack was brilliant and I was so pleased with every part of the story.

    When the words fade and you turn the page one more time.... there's a few extra words by the author that made me jump for joy. I hope you buy this book and this series and enjoy it as much as I have.

    Heart Stopping is the fourth book in the series and it picks up right were Jaw Dropping ended. Baze’s past from ten years ago pretty much comes back to him in the form of a woman who is brought back broken and sleeping on Linc’s couch. Torn apart years ago, Penelope was sent across the globe away from Baze. Now kidnapped and brought right back on Baze’s friend doorstep everything that she lost is right at her fingertips. She doesn’t plan to jump right back in, if at all. They both have separate lives. Baze let go of her once, but vows he never letting her go again.

    Baze what can you say about him besides he super dreamy. He always did the dirty work for the pack. He was the cleaner upper, the responsible one. In the first three books though he played parts, but mostly in the background. He was the mysterious one. Penelope is scared, scared of jumping in, scared if she lets her heart has what she truly desires, she will lose it again. I really can’t blame her. She has knowledge of wolf packs that others don’t have. She is sassy and doesn’t let anyone tell her what to do. They have chemistry in the book, but this one felt more like a slow burning one. Like I say this book crap hits the fan. Everything comes to blows and this family is trying hard to keep their heads above water.
