Imposing Saint (All Saints Security Series Book 3) Kindle Edition
Needing time away to regroup after the fiasco that could very well derail his career, he decides to head to the mountains and enjoy his honeymoon on his own. Only, he isn’t alone. His imposing new bodyguard refuses to let Aaron out of his sight, or his reach, and the way his dark eyes follow Aaron’s every move gets under his skin in a way he can’t shake, and isn’t sure he wants to.
Isaac Chinn is practical, professional and takes pride in being good at his job. He’s never even considered breaching the client/bodyguard boundary, which is why being stuck on the side of a mountain with the gorgeous jilted groom that isn’t quite as straight as he’d like people to think, is such an imposition. The mayor might annoy and intrigue him in equal measure but Isaac knows better than to cross the line.
Only, the heat that flares between them refuses to be ignored. They’re like gasoline and a match, destined to consume each other if they get too close. But when faced with the cold of loneliness, is it worth the risk to feel the heat of passion, even if it might destroy them both?
*Please note this is a full length M/M romance novel. While it is the third installment of the All Saints Security Series it can be read as a standalone and you do not need to have read the previous books in the series to enjoy Aaron and Isaac's story. However, Aaron does play an important role in book two so if you'd like to know more of his backstory before jumping into this one you can read Impulsive Saint which is a MF romance featuring Tyler St. James and Ashtyn Echols, the bride who leaves Aaron at the altar and sets this book in motion.*

About the author

Jess Bryant is an avid indoorswoman. A city girl trapped in a country girl's life, her heart resides in Dallas but her soul and roots are in small town Oklahoma. She enjoys manicures, the color pink, and her completely impractical for country life stilettos. She believes that hair color is a legitimate form of therapy, as is reading and writing romance. She started writing as a little girl but her life changed forever when she stole a book from her aunt's Harlequin collection and she's been creating love stories with happily ever afters ever since.
Jess holds a degree in Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma and is a lifetime supporter of her school and athletic teams. And why not? They have a ton of National Championships! She may be a girlie girl but she knows her sports stats and isn't afraid to tell you that your school isn't as cool as hers... or that your sports romance got it all wrong.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2021I loved Isaac and Aaron! Their story was so raw and real, I couldn't put it down. I loved seeing how their relationship evolved. My only take away, was that I wished there had been more detail in some of the interactions. We were told of their intimacy and budding relationship, but I would have loved to see more of it written out. I didn't put four stars because it didnt necessarily detract from the story because I was already immersed in their journey. I also believe in honoring an author's vision, and I still love how this story played out.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2021Didn't like this book. The story was okay but the telling/writing of the story left something to be desired (for me). It was too repetitious. A Mayor's fiance' ditched him on their wedding day but the Mayor, Aaron, goes on the honeymoon alone, except for the bodyguard that accompanies him. They form a relationship that takes some interesting turns. This book should have stopped at Chapter 22, but it went on to another Chapter plus an Epilogue that all could have been done in Chapter 22. Honestly, I got sleepy every time I tried finishing this book. Don't think I'll continue this series.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2021Isaac is a great character: self-contained, stoic, snarky and nurturing. He knows himself really well and he’s not just pretty to look at, he’s pretty much always the smartest and most observant person in the room. He’s definitely the kind of person you wish good things for, and it’s fun to watch him interact with the other members of the security firm he works with. Honestly, all of the supporting characters are great as well, and the story is well paced so that there aren’t any dull moments: there’s a dramatic beginning, a gradual, sweet and steamy falling in love process, the inevitable complication and finally a resolution, all easy to get caught up in. My one issue with the story, and the reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is that Aaron is a tool.
Aaron spends fully eighty-five percent of this book being a selfish, self-absorbed jerk. He thinks only of how his feelings for Isaac affect him, and spares not a single thought for the cruelty of what he’s demanding of someone he supposedly loves. Even when he has his grand turnaround he doesn’t get there on his own, he has to have his bad behavior pointed out to him over and over again by a whole range of people, and he’s still thinking primarily about how *his* life can work, rather than how he can make things right for Isaac. That he eventually comes around is, in my opinion, the absolute bare minimum of what he should have done, and I wanted so much more growth, self-awareness, and yes, well-deserved groveling, than we got. That said-- Isaac forgives him, and Isaac is happy with their happily-ever-after, and that, despite my dislike for Aaron, in the end really was enough. I don’t have to like the guy to be glad that it all works out, and kinder, more forgiving readers might find more to like in him than I did.
*I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2021I adore this series and fell in love with Aaron, even if I didn’t want to at first. So you can imagine my excitement to read his and Isaac’s story. I’m not always big into M/M stories, but this author writes some incredible ones and once I started this I couldn’t put it down. Being true to oneself, forgoing stereotypes, and finding your one true love make this a must read. He quickly became a favorite and I just know you will fall in love as well.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2021Such a great book. There is a lot of real life topics in this book. Issac is wonderful throughout the story, Aaron is flawed, but you come to understand him better. When Aaron and Issac go off on the trip meant to be Aaron’s honeymoon destination, they find each other. Things begin to get difficult when they return home. Things get real from then on and Issac stays steady throughout, Aaron, not so much. There were definite flaws in Aaron, but understanding his background shed some light on his character.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2021I have been looking forward to Aaron and Isaac's story since I read book 2 in the All Saints Security series and Jess Bryant absolutely killed it! I loved these two so much more than I could have imagined. The chemistry between Aaron and Isaac was sizzling and their love was undeniable. Jess Bryant has definitely become one of my automatic one-click authors, especially for her M/M stories. Even though this is the 3rd book in this incredible series, it can absolutely be read as a standalone.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2021I love this series, especially the St. James crew. What’s better than sexy bodyguards? Not much and Issac is such a hunk and a little bit of a mystery until now. I was so excited to read his story as the bodyguard to the jilted bride groom from Impulsive Saint. Issac has been around from the start of the series and bridegroom Aaron popped up in the last story as the Mayor of Nashville. A sexy political powerhouse on his way up and always avoiding scandal. That’s over when he’s left at the alter and he leaves town with his bodyguard in tow. Secluded in Colorado is a great setup. I love MM romances when done right and there are a few authors that get it right. I was sad that this one didn’t completely work for me. Some of the plot points were exactly like ones from the last story even with the same dialogue. At times it seemed like I was reading about a MF couple during the sexy times. I’m not sure two strong men would interact like they did at times. I don’t see one of the guys carrying the other up the stairs when the two men about the same size and demeanor. I really didn’t like Aaron take on his bisexuality. Either you are or you aren’t. Other than that I was all in with this pair and the conflict seemed real. Issac out and Aaron in was drama filled conflict and my heart bleed for Issac. This is a good addition to this fabulous series. I hope the suspense and danger comes back with the next story. I loved those elements in the first story. Need more body guarding! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
