    “Indiscretions of a god” is the 3rd in the Porn Stars Boyfriend series, and it’s typical Sunniva Dee story. As a reader you start out with some preconceived expectations, and find the characters and plot move in directions that are unexpected. As always, this is first-class New Adult fiction, with a lyrical voice at times, and fast-paced chapters.
    This particular story builds on her previous books and characters, so while you can read this out of order, it’s helpful to be familiar with her earlier Rock Star books, as well as the first two Porn Star stories, so that you’ve got a better handle on cameos and contributing roles by former heroes and heroines.
    Indiscretions follows the struggles of businessman/ mafia son Isaias as a master business CEO/puppeteer of the top Adult Entertainment company Lucid. In attempt to increase audience share, he manipulates porn stars, rock stars, and mafia connections, as he pursues “Catholic novice” Tatiana. It’s an ambitious story, touching on the conflicts of love and passion and family.
    One of my favorite parts is that Indiscretions begins and ends in a neonatal ward – with a very lyrical Italian lullaby sung by our very unlikely hero Isaias. (Truly, as I was reading this, I kept thinking, “Wait. What’s going on?”) Eventually we find Isaias is true to his namesake, loyal to a fault to family and his beliefs. As is Tatiana. I won’t give out any spoilers on our heroine, as we don’t truly learn her story until the end of the book.
    I loved the humor and passion captured in an Adult Entertainment producer filming the rock stars for a PG rated music video, the best of which shows no skin but lots of passion. You’ll also find the gamut in this book, from philia “attraction” to eros’ passion to the ultimate selfless, sacrificial, unconditional “agape” love. For those who enjoy tragic romance, there is even a nod to Romeo and Juliet.
    Full disclosure: I’m a writer/editor who reads first and last chapters first, and then decides whether to read the rest of the book. And, yes, that’s how I read all my books and manuscripts. Sunniva Dee gets my high five on this book. I read it the whole way through, twice!
    I was lucky enough to get an advance reader copy, and I’m so glad I did. As always, I won’t give any spoilers for you; just my recommendation to enjoy the journey. In a world where we are constantly bombarded by bad news, violence, and tragedy, this pulls out a HEA, with humor, wit and even a little mystery.

    You guys. THIS. BOOK. My thoughts over this book are still racing in my mind. I am on a high. This astonishing book was the one I needed to get me out of this book funk. Electrifying and unconventional, this book truly encompasses romance in the most vivid sense.

    Isaias Di Nascimben is a God. No seriously. Everything he touches is gold. He also happens to be the owner of Lucid, an adult entertainment studio in L.A. He knows his worth and isn’t afraid to tell everyone in the room just who he is. Enter Tatiana. A nun?!! She is left unimpressed by Isaias and his God like attitude. You’d think this would deter him from going after her. Not in the least. It excites him. And he has no idea what he’s in for.

    Don’t let the title fool you. Don’t let the blurb tell you everything there is to know about this story. There are depths of layers to this book that I couldn’t have imagined. This is book is an experience and I have to be vague on the details. As a reader, this is the type of story I appreciate. The storyline is complex in it’s revelations with each layer unveiling as the story unfolds. There is an intensity between Isaias and Tatiana that is angsty and seductive at the same time. These two are alluring and I found it impossible to put their story down. Secrets and mystery. Romance and emotions you never see coming, but feel just as deeply. This book is full of suspense as it flawlessly delivers a story that is unexpected yet vital and profound.

    Let’s. Talk. Writing. Oh. My. If there is anything I can say that can even adequately describe the author’s writing, it is fearless. She. Takes. Chances. Unapologetic in it’s prose, and daring in its delivery, this book is exactly the reason why I love her work.

    Mafia son, adult movie industry, mysterious, bad-assed heroine - this book has it all. If you're looking for a rehash of the previous Porn Star Boyfriends books, this isn't it. I won't retell the plot as others have done that far better than I. We get Isaias' point of view for the majority of the book. This helps alot to humanize him, but Tatiana then becomes a mystery (to the reader and to Isaias) for a good part of the book. She has a lot of layers and gives Isaias a run for his money. The story is beautifully written. I love this author's voice and awkward situations she forces her readers to confront. Who would want to fall in love with the owner of an adult movie studio and the son of a mafia king pin? But there are so many plot elements (I hate to say 'tropes') that sometimes it's tough to figure out what the book really wants to be - porn star boyfriend, mafia romance, rock stars, law enforcement,..I liked the other two books because they deal head-on with the adult industry boyfriend concept. We don’t really get that here- too many other things going on. There are some scenes with characters from other books that I felt went on a bit too long probably because I haven’t read those books, but I relished every little mention of Luka and Ciro and wanted more of them or even hints of them. I didn't feel the angst here between the two leads like the prior two books. There's no doubt of Isaias' devotion. And he's a softy at heart - the ending is heartwarming and beautiful. It's a love story in difficult, crazy times. I'm looking forward to the next book.

    This is the third book in the series, and once again has a completely different tone to the others. That is not a bad thing. Far from it. It is a testament to the author’s skill that she is able to imbue the narrative with these changes, and yet still produce a story that is uniquely a Sunniva Dee story.

    At its heart, this is a love story. Love takes different forms. Family. Career. Significant other. But it is a love story that doesn’t necessarily follow the traditional path to the end. For example, I didn’t particularly like Isaias – at least for the most part. He is a completely arrogant, “my word is law” dominant ******* of a character. And honestly? I don’t think I was supposed to like him; not completely anyway. But I loved his story. And I loved Tatiana as his counterpoint. And the fact that this was told almost solely from his point of view, feeds into her aura of mystery. You know something is up with her, you just might not know what.

    But the added colour to this story comes from the cross over with some familiar faces.

    In short? Another great story. And I, for one, cant wait to see what else we will be treated to this year.

    I absolutely loved the fast-paced action of this story, I didn't know what to expect when I started but its definitely one of my favourites from this author.

    I really liked the initial spark between the two main characters, the immediate chemistry and banter that sprung up between them. Isaias is trying to stay out of the 'family' business and focus on expanding his own empire in the porn industry. Tatiana is a novice nun with secrets, she is sassy and fierce with a very persuasive nature.

    I loved the cameos from other characters and it just makes me so impatient for their future books as I'm dying to find out how things end up for Troy and Aishe!

    Fantastic page-turner had me hooked. Straight onto book two in this mafia duet!
