    The dragons in this story are a joy to read about. You see millions of dragon related books and they are all so Similar, so these dragons are a breath of fresh air. I love that there is so much detail, it makes it truly come to life in your mind. The story continues with the discovery of the iron dragon and the adventures of trying to outrun and outsmart the Dragon Souls. It will be wonderful to see the connection with the dragons I'm sure is to come by not only jason, but also his sister kayla. The only criticism of the book, and not really a criticism, more of an observation is the repeating of topics. Sometimes the same thing will get spoken about multiple times in slightly different manners and can get a little repetitive. But not something that hinders the story at all and can help build a story. A wonderful second edition and highly highly anticipating the third!

    This series is definitely a different take on dragons getting known as misfit with these stories. After Jason discovers an Ice Dragon he accidentally found. He has learned there are other dragon mates from the Ice Dragon who wants to find them. Jason decides to help to find them. This leads to quite the adventure to do so. First Jason had to find a way to keep his sister Kayla and Mother fed while he was gone. The Ice Dragon solved that problem for him. Letting the Ice Dragon hone in as much as he could Jason and he took off to see if they could find more dragons. A feat that wasn't going to be easy to find more and to stay out of The Dragon Souls radar while doing so.

    I recommend this series wholeheartedly. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review of this book because I love to read and endorse an author's writing I enjoy without revealing to much of the story to not to ruin it for others.

    These books should be super exciting. With simple changes they could be transformed. There is no interaction between people or with the dragons that resonate. All you would have to do is Mark up the text where you need the human, the drama, the background to come alive. Mark the appropriate section, perseverance, respect, community feel, chipping together. The girlfriend, show respect, say her dad loves him and respects the family but. The old crippled lady who give cookies and cares. But she is old. Establish community character. You should have busted the food stealer. In a place like that, it would not be allowed. Show feelings for sister by showing her doing something good. To be respected for, the mom too. I have no empathy for her. Which is awful, that's your fault. The dragons, have approval, respect, learning and achievements of the bond, show the bond. Stick the words and insert stories words that create a connection to your characters. And a connection between characters. Your books lack basic people, interaction. The caring, the wanting to meet the needs of all. What are those needs. To give sister a life. The dragons companions to keep them safe and thrive. To end whatever abuse the bad guys are committing. See, I'm actually on book 3 and I still don't know what we are fighting against. I don't know why the way they train is so bad. You haven't established the bad guy. Yeah the one is bad, but he doesn't represent all. If you are doing some lame hold back to get past that. It's not working. You need to go back in and put which ever emotional motivation relationship building teamwork community character, in there. That will pull it together. You have much exciting perils he went through but if no one cares. It means nothing
