    Killer Honeymoon is a perfect ending for the Matrimony and Mayhem series. I am sad that there won't be more full-length books with Royce and Sawyer as the leads, but the author is good at sprinkling characters from previous books into different series, and I love that.
    I have to say that this beautiful couple is my favorite of all the characters this author has written. There is a fullness and richness to their lives and personalities that drew me in from the first and kept me invested in their continued health and happiness.
    I felt like an honored guest as I read about their wedding. As they take that last step to lifelong commitment, the emotion and passion are almost tangible. I could finally take a deep breath once they became one.
    The honeymoon/investigation is a perfect picture of their previous time together and what will surely follow them into the future. The case is exciting, and I guessed wrong about the bad guy a couple of times before I found out who-dun-it. I've never been disappointed in this author's ability to set up and solve murders.
    I cried, laughed, and couldn't get the smile off my face even when it ended. So good.
    I am confident and satisfied with their HEA; as always, I look forward to more from this author.

    Five full stars and a swooning book hangover for "Killer Honeymoon," the finale of this trilogy featuring Sawyer and Royce. In this story, the author does what she does best: continues the series with great continuity and delivers a book that's a perfect blend of romance and mystery.

    If you've read the series so far, this is a swoon-worthy tale featuring the wedding and honeymoon with all of the usual side characters that round out het books, making them come to life in the reader's mind.

    If you're new to this author, this can be read as a stand-alone. You might not get the extra oohs and awwws that her regular readers experience, but this author excels at giving new readers everything they need to make the story full all on its own.

    This is one of those rare books that I'll reread immediately, taking my time and savoring the little details I may have missed the first time. I'm not ready to let go of Royce and Sawyer yet. So, book hangover? Most definitely.

    I highly recommend this book, this series, and everything she writes. Her Curl Up and Dye series is also an all time favorite of mine, but Sawyer and Royce have taken over the top spot. Might be time to re-read both from their beginnings... 😍🔥💖💖💖

    I read this book immediately after coming out because I was so ready; however, I had to give myself a few days to absorb everything so I wouldn't be too emotional writing the review.

    I ugly cried, belly laughed and swooned with this book!!! It was soooooo good! I loved everything about it. The wedding, the amazing and very typical Royce and Sawyer honeymoon, and the teaser for what's coming next (oh my word yes!!!!). I know we'll see Royce and Sawyer again (and Bones and Dolly)!

    This book was so good, once finished, I started at the beginning to do a complete re-read of the whole series. Aimee Nicole Walker is an amazing story teller. She always hits the feels, writes mind-blowing smexy times, includes just enough snark and builds characters you can relate to. This is one of the best series ever written and is in my all-time top ten.

We got to see their wedding and all the trouble they manage to get into during their honeymoon. I’m so invested into their lives, that I’m hoping we continue to get a glimpse of them in future books. Overall, a phenomenal read!! Well written with that perfect pacing that kept me engaged and enraptured!! Highly recommend!!

    This was so enjoyable and I adored the whole of the wedding chapters. I was also glad to see Sawyer (and Royce as well) get some more closure from the loss of his first husband Vic. Loved the letters. I do wish they would have shared the letters with Vic's mother. The rest of the story on the island wasn't quite up to standards but was still well done and the characters were interesting. The biggest problem I had with this book were all of the typos. This is not like books from this author. At least twice steal trap was used for steel trap although the final use of the phrase was correct. Also lots of words wrongly shortened/left unfinished. Almost like they were trying to hurry up and finish before the publication deadline. Again, this author's books are usually much better edited than this. I'm still a big fan, though, and want more of Sawyer and Royce and am looking forward to Topher's and Mendoza's stories.

    I hope to see more of these guys but I love their love and their adventures and Aimee Nicole walker you have some brilliant one liners and I love the movie references they never fail to make me laugh and the fact that I get them all. The wedding was beautiful but the honeymoon was killer… pun intended. These guys and the supporting characters are so much fun.

    This book had we crying a few pages in and then when we get to their wedding day I just cried more. The furst look photoshoot before the wedding is what started it. They just love each orther so much, it just flows off the page. I was just so happy to see them finally married and truly happy, they both deserve it.

    The wedding night sex was some of the hottest, the corset Sawyer worse is what did it. It was Royce's fantasy come to life! Lets just say that they have an awful lot of sex in this one but what do you expect, it is their honeymoon after all!

    Even when trying to enjoy their holiday, they just can't help finding things to solve. There is a grumpy old man, very stupid young people, a suspicious property developer, and even a storm to deal with. Lets just be glad that the murder wasn’t till about 60% in and I was glad for it, I enjoyed murder free Royce and Sawyer time! When people start being murdered they just can’t help butting into the investigation, they just can’t help themselves. I so didn't guess who it was and why. It was a great liitle bit of mystery shoved in there but it wouldn't have been their book without it. The murder was try evil and was determined to carry out his plan. The murders were pretty nasty and brutal, but the killer wasn’t a nice man at all. He seemed nice of the surface but he had a act going on! When they finally go to finish it, they have to go ahead alone and without their usual means. They have no guns and no backup, but the latter is a choice they make. They show us how badass they still are!

    The ending really wrapped up the whole trilogy and Gain made me cry, it was Sawyer's present to Royce that did me in. We see Royce finally start his job in the explorer program and the new aspect of his career. I'm excited for the next two books coming. We are getting Topher's story and I'm looking forward to getting to know him better. The best news us that we are finally getting Chief Mendoza and Sheriff Leo's story, that but with them at the end was so hot! It was a teaser of whats to come. I'm looking forward to seeing Royce and Sawyer finally becoming parents, they will both be amazing dads.

    Good lord, can these books get any better?? These are two of my absolute favorite characters out of all the series that I read, and as an avid reader, there are a LOT. Sawyer and Royce have become friends to us, it is like we have a vested interest in what happens to them, their happiness and future. I don't need to get into the details, that isn't even necessary as it is all good...every bit of it. Go back to the beginning, as I have a number of times, and start reading. When you get to this book you will be hooked and like the rest of us, waiting to see what happens in the side characters books to come. Hopefully we will continue to get our Locke and Key fix through their stories or another with just these two. Come on....we need a baby and we know they have baby fever two. Can't recommend enough, just buy it!
