    OMG! This story was definitely intense right from the beginning. This story is about Clara and Jonathan. Clara's story was definitely a horrifically traumatized life. She was kidnapped at six years old but was able to escape from her kidnappers. The first chapter had Clara relive her worst nightmare. From there on, she finds out more about the boy who was kidnapped with her. She is living her nightmare over again. The bright side is she found love with Jonathan! At the end, her nightmare is finally over when the bad guys are taken care of. FANTASTIC job Jane! I would recommend this book!

    Dolls are creepy. Clara and Jonathan have a less than ideal start, but they quickly feel connected and try to work on a relationship while also facing a criminal whose harm spans decades. Clara’s family is a delight and I loved Naomi and her strength. Jimmy was a fantastic character and I wish the ending had included some type of reunion either Clara and the kids. This was a quick read and full of details. I am excited to read more about this family and what their stories entail.

    So let me just start by saying that I am not someone who typically reads a lot of romantic thrillers . My go to genre is dark or contemporary romance. That being said . When I sat down last night and first started reading Little Dolls by Jane Blythe I was honestly not sure what to expect . But omg , by the time I got to the end of the very first chapter I was just so utterly and completely hooked . Clara and Jonathan are two of the most intriguing, unique and multi layered characters you will ever meet . I guarantee they will pull at your heartstrings and suck you in so completely. Jonathan is a detective who meets Clara when he rescues her from a car high jacking .from the moment they meet the attraction they feel towards one another is undeniable. What neither realizes at the time is how much a impact each will have one another . There is so much that happens in this phenomenally written story , a story full of intrigue, suspense, angst , heartbreak, darkness , twists and turns , and moments that are so emotional you will literally be sitting on the edge of your seat biting your nails .. truth be told I’m having a really hard time finding the right words to express what a beautifully written story this is . All I can say is that I cannot remember the last time I read a story that had the ability to make me feel so many different ways at once the way this one has . From the moment I met Clara my heart truly broke for her , no one should ever have to suffer through the trauma she did . As much as my heart broke for her , I also loved how strong she was , . And Jonathan, well he was absolutely perfect . The way he was Always there and supporting Clara was truly so beautiful. . Watching there relationship and Their feeling for one another slowly change from friendship into so much more was one of my favorite things about this story , especially because one of my very favorite tropes is slow burn 🔥 . I simply adored every single second of Little Dolls .

    I stepped outside my usual circle of authors to try reading a book written by an author I hadn’t read before. Some parts of the book were interesting but it seemed like everyone in the story had an obvious problem that would be explored in another book. I don’t think that I would read a second book by this writer.

    This is the first in a new series and what a nail-biting beginning this is. Clara is a victim of a car high jacking, and when the police give chase, it is Jonathan who is a detective that comes to her aid, and there is an instant connection between them. When the dolls killer reservices, it brings back bad memories. Clara was 6 when she was taken with a boy she was trapped with, but they manage to escape. Now John is trying to prove that her childhood friend is guilty of the crime which they both survived from, and Clara is equally determined to prove her friend’s innocence. This is a well-paced story which is dark, raw, gritty, and with suspense, mystery, danger, twists, emotions, humor, and is an intense and thrilling page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

    I absolutely loved Jonathon and Clare's story. The depth and detail that Jane Blythe gasping into this story is mind blowing. This really was a rollercoaster ride, a plot full of twists, turns, intrigue and suspense. I don't usually like books where children are treated negatively but Jane handled the scenes with undeniable skill, complete respect of the situation, and an empathy that knows no bounds.
    Jonathon was a stunning character. A total alpha male. A man focussed on bringing evil to justice and protecting the innocent.
    Clara was such strong character. She had gone through so much trauma yet she was still functioning and moving through life. It broke my heart that benevolent see just how are inspiring she was.
    I loved the family dynamic for Clara. Her sister could seriously kick butt.
    Jonathon and Clara together was so heartwarming. Watching them grAvitate to each other was beautiful.
    Definitely recommend.

    Plot of the book good. However, the main characters are not so much. No chemistry whatsoever. Detective trying to solve the case using Claire. Case with no support. In so many scenes, I was missing support it is not even funny. Case of multiple murders and they never have any backup? Going check houses just two of them? When kids are found no area is searched? Kidnapping in front of the bank and library and no camera recording how Kidnapping happened and how do they look like? But then kidnappers can see kids in a room on a camera. Or over 70 years old, able to stop young 29 year old women and then a man and a bodyguard as well? Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this read some bits don't make sense at all
