Garth Reynolds, a Los Angeles private investigator, is on his way home from a much needed vacation with old friends when he shares a table at supper with a beautiful widow. When Garth is called on to help the LAPD with a special case, he and Emma are sad to leave one another but he promises to return to her after the case is finished. But when a copycat serial killer begins to target women close to the men working the case, Garth fears for Emma’s safety.
Will he and the police be able to capture the madman and keep Emma safe? Or will she be torn away from him before their love has had a chance to bloom?

About the author

I have wanted to be a writer since a very young age. I would hide out in the garage storage room of my childhood home and write stories on by Big Chief Tablet while sitting on an overturned bucket and using a wooden orange crate for a desk.
I now write contemporary romances. It is my greatest goal to write believable love stories about heroines and heroes that will make you feel a connection with the characters that you never want to end.
I have two grown daughters, the oldest of which is also a writer besides being a high school librarian, and the youngest is a photographer besides working in the natural gas fields. I share my home with my wonderful husband of 38 years and our sweet little Pixie-Bob cat named Bobby Jo in North Central Texas.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2015I enjoyed your book. It's more intricate than a Hallmark movie. The suspense at the end was just right. It was not as intense as a criminal mind plot. Good read.
