Dear Jason,
Thank you for your emails. It sounds like you need to get laid, or possibly have a sex marathon.
Today’s modern woman doesn’t need to be put in a category to serve men, and I’m sorry if you think my advice lacks heart-warmth, or whatever it was you said. It is what it is.
Now maybe you should take a lesson or two from me. It could spice up your love life in the most unimaginable ways. Imagine being with a woman who will rock your world. It’s the difference between a $2 hook up and a mind-blowing experience.
I will gladly show you what I mean, so call me if you need clarification on any of the matters discussed. I look forward to meeting you.
~Paige

That was the letter I sent my boss when he suggested my advice column needed more heart.

That, was the letter he wasn’t supposed to get…

Jesus Christ, I was drunk. Wasted, off my face drunk.

I didn’t know how in the hell I managed to get myself in these sorts of crazy situations.

And… I didn’t know that letter would open up my own personal Pandora’s Box where my heart was in for the ride of its’ life…

*****Mailroom Delight by Khardine Gray: A steamy touching story
Wow. The feels in this story... the anguish of lost love, the resistance to loving again. Letting go. The responsibility of advice without heart and the unwanted sparks with someone new. I really enjoyed this sweet and sexy love story and the very nice HEA left me smiling.

Some of the emotions read true yet as a widow you don't just let go and drop into bed that fast with another man, especially if your husband was your first and only relationship.

Paige wrote a live and relationships column but was still recovering from the untimely end to her last relationship. The magazine’s new owner seemed instantly attracted to her although she resisted initially.

This short book was a passionate story about moving on. What I liked most about Paige was her willingness to look at herself and admit she had issues and worked to resolve them. She also listened to advice from Jason about her column and instead of insisting he was out of line, she acknowledged she could make some improvements.

This workplace romance has the locked storage room, the charity gala, and the “come to my place” steamy times we like in a book like this.

Wow what a story, the description of Jason was so vivid and sexually charged from Paiges Colonel Sanders reference to when she met him for the first time. Paige is an advice columnist at the company Jason just purchased, since her husband died three years ago Paige has been giving harsh advice to women who read her column, telling them things like to forget a lover find another one make sure he notices you and have hot sex in a hotel room. But you see Paige doesn't take her own advice no she just goes home making her friends believe she's ok when in reality she has lost the heart to give sound advice. Jason had been trying to meet her to go over some changes he wanted her to make, but Paige kept avoiding him, until one night in the mailroom with her best friend Bernice she drank so much that she wrote a letter to Jason telling him he needed to get paid and she would be happy to help him out, (she still believes he looks like a monk or colonel sanders) and sealed it with a big ole lipstick kiss. It wasn't meant to be delivered but she passed out after giving Bernice advice in how to forget the love of her life Cory, she told her to find someone and have hot sex. Bernice did just that and felt awful about doing it, but back to Paige she passed out drunk, the next thing she knows its morning and she was still in the mailroom, oh yeah the place is clean and the LETTER is GONE, Frank delivered it to Jason. Paige thinking she can retrieve it before he reads it breaks into his office and that starts their banter back and forth. Know Jason has always been a player but it seems the beautiful and inegmatic Paige has brought him around, the one sex scene was scorching hot. But after that chapter the tears started flowing down my face because of Paiges line of thinking, the raw emotions coming from her seemed so real that they just came right off the pages. But good thing Jason didn't give up when she pulled a disappearing act, he tracked her down at home and found out she had lost her husband and that was the root of all her problems and hesitations, she wasn't running from him she was afraid the feelings she let build for Jason were one sided, they talked and then it skipped five and a half months ahead, to their HFN ending. Jason and Paige found the one thing we all aspire to TRUE LOVE.

This was a good short read with plenty of steam and a few heartwarming moments. For a short novel the storyline was well developed. But even though it was short, I had a bit of a trouble getting into the story. I didn’t like how both Jason and Paige behaved towards each other at the beginning considering that Jason was her boss. They were both too over the top for my taste and it wasn’t realistic. By the time I warmed up to both of them their story was already over.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I really struggled with book and Page's tough exterior. I was very shocked that she was in counseling or therapy dealing with the tragedy surrounding her husband. I just didn't connect well with Paige until after she let her guard down with Jason. He was the reason why I continued to keep reading. It was just something about hum. I would love to read about her friend Bernice.

This was an enjoyable hot quick read that carried me away from reality for an hour. I thought I had worked out why Paige was so closed off to love and was surprised when I learnt what had happened to her husband, but it all then made sense. I wouldn't hesitate to read any of this new to me author's other books

Bonne histoire mais j'ai été un peu déçue que les dialogues abrasifs deviennent plus doux avec l'évolution de la relation entre les personnages principaux. Je le comprends pour l'histoire, mais cette connexion était intéressante à lire.
