    From the moment that Lacey & Gunnar meet, they combust, there are sparks flying. She is the good girl, but feisty. Gunnar is the tattooed Rock God; he is blunt, arrogant and takes women for his pleasure. But, that is just what others see; the exterior. There is more to Lacey (Lace) and Gunnar and they bring it out in each other. They fall fast and hard. He shows her to “live beyond consequences.” Gunnar was “hollow, dead inside.” Lacey makes him feel again.

    Metal and Lace is about a reporter, Lace writing about a rock group, specifically the front man Gunner. She saw that they did not have the enthusiasm that they had before and she did not write a very nice review of their show. Gunner gets angry and shows up at Lace's office and demands that she tour with them and rewrite the article. Her boss agrees and she has no choice. This is a story of a privilege who meets the bad boy, manwhore rock star. They butt heads in the beginning but they both get to know each other. Gunner knows that he is going on a European tour and what ever it is between them cannot last. He is surprised by his feelings for Lace and it scares him. She also gives him the passion that he has lost and is willing to give it a try.

    Hmm... What can I say about Metal & Lace. For starters the author did a wonderful job throughly developing the characters of this book. I was able to picture the characters and feel their emotions. The storyline was creative and well written. Although I consider it to be a love story it had just the right about of edge to it to prevent it from being sappy. Kudos to you, Lena Black, on a job well done. I definitely recommend this as a must read and look forward to reading more of your work.

    It was a nice story but very predictable. I like my books to have happy endings and this one did but I guess I just expected more. She was an emotionally abandoned rich girl and he was the bad family rock star. I would have liked to see more from this story, something I hadn't read many times over but I didn't get that from this book. I can't say that I didn't some what like it because it did have a nice ending but I wouldn't read it again. It was just OK. I've read Lena Black's books in the past and I really liked them but this just seems like she took pieces from the other millions of romance books and put it together just to say she wrote a book. She has done much better than this.

    Literally! I will admit I was nervous to read this book. Not because I thought the story/writing would suck, because it couldn't, it's written by Lena, afterall. I was worried I wouldn't make a connection with the male lead. I'd seen plenty of teasers over the past couple of months and the physical description of the male lead just didn't 'do it for me". Yes I know very shallow of me, but it's the truth. I knew I would read it anyway because I flove Lena's books. So the old cliche proves true once again, don't judge a book by it's cover, as I quickly found myself wanting to be Lacey so I could spend time with Gunner. Another fantastic book Lena!!!

    There were times I really wanted to smack Gunnar! I wanted to hurt him so bad. But thanks to Lace, I fell in love with both of them. I wished the story was a bit longer. That would be the only down fall. I wanted more Gunnar and Lace. Nothing like a smoking hot band member and a pretty young lady. I love tattoos so I could only imagine the hotness. Smoking hot sex! Yum.

    Lena has gone and done it again, I was not sure at first when I ready the teasers but as I have been following Lena's work from the beginning I knew I would have to read this one and I am so pleased I did as always she did not disappoint, her writing just sucks you in and you can not put it down. Gunnar Haze is a strong Rock god who usually does not get emotionally involved but then he meets Lacy Cummings a music journalist who appears on the surface to be uptight and prim who interviews him and he cannot understand why but he falls totally for her just proving that opposites do attract. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride but in the end love won. I flove Lena's work cant wait for the next one.
