    I really enjoyed reading this book, so much so that I could not but this book down. I found this book to be well written, the characters well developed and the story engaging. The main characters meet accidentally and Cole mistakenly think Gemma is a prostitute and he attempts to hire her for sex. There is an immediate attraction, but she turns him down initially. When Cole learns Gemma's true identity he sets out to hire her to design his London hotel and pursues a casual fling during his stay in London.

    Over the course of two weeks, Gemma and Cole explore a relationship that goes from strangers-friends/lovers. They enjoy a very intense dominant-submissive sexual relationship. Gemma comes to the realization that she enjoys the "submissive role". Both characters have been engaged previously and were betrayed by their fiancee. These betrayals were devastating and influenced their interacts with each others. As this couple share their stories, they bonded and offer each other support which grows into love.

    This book is perfect for the reader who loves the following tropes: alpha male/submissive female, controlling billionaire who always gets his way, protective male, Christmas grump, female sexual awakening and unexpected pregnancy.

    This book is a holiday romance with an exciting story. The story goes from causal to genuine love while characters find happiness in each other and themselves. This story is exceptionally steamy, including so many burning scenes I thought it was erotic romance. I like how the story progresses from business arrangements to sporadic actions. The characters are appealing, both being well-off wealthy bosses and having given up on love until they found each other. Both have damaged pasts and people in their lives, causing chaos. The story does end happy and sweet.

    Gemma is the owner of her own company and is late for the annual Christmas party. She hints at a bad year but good for business. Her friend Holly is so definitely wilder than she is.

    Cole and Jackson are in the same hotel their companies partly own for a Christmas party and looking for a decent designer in London.

    Gemma has an interesting first encounter with Cole and Jackson, but I love their banter. Cole makes a slight mistake with Gemma, misunderstanding the situation and hoping it works out as their chemistry is smoking hot. Unfortunately, it doesn't, and now he is so determined to find out who she is. This should be interesting.

    It seems work affiliations bring them back together in a business manner. I like how the authors offer us both characters' perspectives. This book is very holiday-themed, even if the businesses aren't. This book is also very steamy. I enjoy how the characters get to know each other in and out of the bedroom. The change of heart is very subtle but definitely a whirlwind timeline. I truly enjoyed Gemma and Cole's romance.

Gemma and Cole are perfect! The chemistry! The romance! The character growth and development! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy, plot and smut. I love how confident Gemma was, she took control of her life! Cole was dominating and intense but feel so hard for Gemma. He was smitten from the start. I love this book.     I love Christmas books, and I honestly didn’t know much about this book going in other than the hero in the book mistakes the heroine for a lady of the night and then they end up having some sort of professional relationship. Seems like a fun set up for me.
    Gemma and Cole are both coming off of pretty crappy relationships. Gemma’s is much more fresh and is still taking place in her social circle as well as a pretty healthy dose of public humiliation, which just sucks. Even with that though she is determined too enjoy her first Christmas season alone. Cole on the other hand had a bad relationship and instead of allowing himself to be ever be vulnerable to another woman the only relationships he has are the ones that are “business arrangements”, enter in their meet cute.
    This book is a lot more spicy than I thought it was going to be. But not in a bad way. I like how the author kind of takes you on a little tour of London at Christmas. I like the relationship dynamics between Gemma and Cole once they decide to have a friends with benefit arrangement. They have fantastic chemistry, but they also just really compliment each other in a way I don’t think either one of them was expecting. Because each one of their dates includes a night out or Christmas activity it keeps the book from being just spice all the time. There isn’t much of an underlying plot point (so don’t look for a mystery or something here), but there are a few minor moments of ex drama, but mostly it’s just a really enjoyable story of how two people came together at Christmas. It was just an enjoyable read. Would read more by the author in the future.
