    I have had a love hate relationship with this series all along. I almost didn't finish it. I put book 1 and 2 away several times. I only kept reading because I hate to have unread books on my shelf. I reached a turning point with book 3, Never Stop. The RN in me got caught up in Brooke's story. The romantic in me loved how Easton loved his wife through sickness and health, never letting her forget how beautiful she was.
    But this novel, My One, was the Kicker for me! My One was a delightful surprise! Kimberly Knight adds a whole new plot to this book. Yes, she did repeat scenes from Never Stop but she quickly worked it into the new back story about Avery and his parents. The mystery behind Avery's isolation from his parents intrigued me. Unlike the previous books in this series, I was unable to put this book down. I kept reading until late at night. I loved the happily ever after ending and was pleasantly surprised by the twist in the finale.
    I was entertained by My One from beginning to the end. I am glad I stuck it out. It turned out to be well worth my time.

    This is the final book in the Halo series, and though I’m sad to see it end, the ending is so good! This book has got twists and turns that we never see coming, believe me this ending is an ending you won’t want to miss!
    This is Avery and Nicole’s second book, it shows us how their love has healed them after her miscarriage. This book picks up right after Avery’s marriage proposal and shows us their wedding in Vegas...fast forward two years and the couple is still in wedded bliss. The only dim star in Avery’s life is the fact that he lost his mom. He has no idea why she hates him so much but her lack of involvement in his life is all the proof he needs to know that she doesn’t want anything to do with him. It hurts but he has accepted it, until he gets a phone call that unravels one huge secret that no one felt necessary to tell Avery. Now it’s Nicole’s turn to hold on to Avery and to be strong enough to help him through what he assumed what his life, but in all reality it was a huge lie. The only thing Avery knows is that he can’t get through this alone, he needs his My One....

    This book is a must read, however you must at least read My one, but i do recommend reading the whole Halo series to get the whole story! I love the love story between Nicole and Avery, you can feel the love radiate off the pages of each page. I don't want to give ANY part of the book away or even their story... Make sure to grab your copy and read the final book of the Halo series...

    In all seriousness, I didn't see any of this coming. I loved how Avery and Nicole's story evolved and how they grew as couple. Avery's love for his wife shines through the pages but, this time, Nicole's strength just left me in awe.

    My One starts with Avery and Nicole's perfect wedding in Vegas. And when everything seems to be perfect, tragedy strikes and they are left to pick up the pieces of they thought they life was going to be. Their journey is emotional and realistic. It resonated to the point where I had to take a break (but trust me, it's worth reading because Kimberly will break your heart and put it back together at the same time).

    Whereas the first two books in the series can be read as a standalones, you must read the previous ones before My One. You will enjoy the story to the fullest. And I'm sure that, as it happened to me, this will become your favorite series!
