No Quarter: Dominium - The Complete Series: An Historical Adventurous Romance Kindle Edition
Editorial Reviews
Review
No Quarter: Dominium - An Historical Adventurous Romance by MJL Evans and GM O'Connor is a wonderful romance novel that had me on the edge of my seat and begging for more. The suspense and the action surrounding the main characters were intense, the character development was amazing and the story arcs were simply fantastic. This is a complete novel with a wonderful atmosphere, a brilliant setting and an exceptional narrative that hooked me right in and had me biting my nails to find out what happens next. This was an intense novel, one that I didn't want to end. I wanted to know more about Atia and La Roche (and the author gave us plenty of insights into their lives). The characters were developed beautifully and given time to grow on their own and develop relationships with other characters. I loved the relationship they had with each other and with other people, which gave them a depth that made them real. I really enjoyed this book!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2017This was a great journey through the world of Caribbean pirates in the late 17th century. The level of detail is rich and sets wonderful imagery. I enjoyed the well-crafted characters, though I questioned some of the plot turns. An enjoyable read!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2017If you're looking for a novel full of pirate shenanigans, this book is for you! I do think the book started out a bit slow but it definitely picks up and you won't be able to read it fast enough. I did get a little overwhelmed with all of the characters at first, thinking I would forget who they were but when they were brought up again, the book was descriptive enough that I placed them fairly quickly. I enjoyed so many of the characters and their histories. I love how discriptive everything was, it really helps immerse you in the story. I will say I'm surprised there were things left up in the air, I guess with it being so long I expected everything to be tied up neatly. The ending really makes me want one more book added to the series! I would absolutely recommend this to people who enjoy period novels.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2018This book starts off slow but picks up and you can't put it down for wanting more. The love affair between Atia and the capitaine is so crazy with little rest between drama. Their fight for freedom makes you want them to find peace. The ending is upsetting because we have gone full circle and leaves you needing more.
