When Christie Adams, author of contemporary steamy romance, isn't completely absorbed in the writing process, she's probably thinking about it - either the book she's currently working on, or one of the dozen other stories she'll have percolating away at the back of her mind.

In addition to writing, she also loves investing time in reading a good book, or browsing the internet in search of cute videos of dogs and puppies, a pastime that often helps with writer's block - or so she claims. On those rare occasions when she can tear herself away from the computer, she has a weakness for James Bond movies and romantic comedies - she’s watched “Notting Hill” more times than she can remember.

Good chocolate is also one of her passions in life, often accompanied by a glass of her favourite tipple, English sparkling wine. And if she can be persuaded to abandon her writing for a while, she finds that chocolate, wine and a good movie on TV is an excellent way to pass an evening.

    I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series and book. I’ve anxiously looked forward to reading Ros’s story since I first read of her character in the series. I happened upon a somewhat negative review of the book, but didn’t let that stop me from reading it. I must say that I disagree with that review. This was a really good book and lived up to my expectations. I’ve read many books and series involving BDSM. Most do not involve female Dominants. This book was very good even though I guessed correctly who the bad guy was. Definitely recommended.

    Simon may be an alpha to the world but he desires being Ros' pet in the bedroom. An experienced Domme, Ros has never had romantic feelings towards her bottom or slave. That changes with Simon.

    I loved this couple! I liked how they worked with each other, how they negotiated their scenes, the dynamics between them. It was realistic. I want more of them. The story was interesting and entertaining. Simon is not used to someone else taking care of him. Ros does that so well even when his alpha comes out. She's been trained in the military to be a bodyguard. She is kick-ass, take no prisoners.

    I hated that this story ended I enjoyed it so much. This is a keeper and one for re-reading.

    I'm sure that others enjoyed but I couldn't get past Ros being a horribly cruel Domme. I hated his scene at Aegis it was so different than the love and care found with a dom to female sub.
