- Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2023My favorite novels are murder mysteries, legal thrillers, and spy thrillers! Ken Rosenberg' is a master at writing spy thrillers. I read "Russia Girl," "Vendetta Girl," "Spy Girl," "Mystery Girl," "The American," and "The Paris Conspiracy!" I am hooked on Kenneth Rosenberg's novels. Nathan Grant is a well-developed, and believable character. In "The Paris Conspiracy," Rosenberg's description of various locations, and food, got me started on planning another trip. I communicated with Kenneth Rosenberg, and he was in Budapest at the time. Budapest is a wonderful city, especially, "old" Budapest. All of the characters, including Graham, have flaws that make them seem so real. The plot is non-stop, action-packed, until the very last page. Graham has many talents, that come in handy as an intelligence professional. I am starting "The Berlin Connection" today. Please enjoy "The Paris Conspiracy."
- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2024I enjoyed this story. I found some situations were out on the edge of believability, but I didn't let it spoil the read (Mr. Rosenberg is not the first author I've read who pushed the limits of reality). Every once in a while, things got a bit cliche' but again, we'll not let that stop us from continuing on. Overall, characters were well-developed. The plot, as far as I could tell, was consistent (I'm not going to check to see if some of the travel times were accurate 😁). I did not read book one of the series, but I didn't feel I needed to because things from the characters pasts were revealed. And things moved along nicely. I will probably read the next book in the series.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2024The author goes out of his way to keep Nathan from being a superhero. Nathan just works his way through each difficult and gets lucky. There is a good story line and the author keeps adding to it. Nathan is a good character to build a book around. I believe each person could have a different perspective on Nathan and the way he handles problems. It seemed like he was always having trouble. A good book for a short read.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2024Enjoyed this action novel more than any others I've read recently. Unlike most stories, I couldn't predict what scenarios were coming up. Author had a good variety of events take place that didn't feel like imitations of other books. Character's actions weren't so far-fetched that they were impossible to believe & made me cringe. None of the storylines of "man conquers woman & gets her in bed because he's a sex-god" which always makes me roll my eyes.
I will read more of Rosenberg's stories.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2024Loved this one. Great plot and serious action. Couldn't put it down. Stayed up far too long reading night after night.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2024I can't give it a 5 because the ending was so abrupt, and the plot so unrealistic. Our hero Nathan Grant decides to assassinate multiple people, including a U.S. Senator on the flimsiest of circumstantial evidence.
It was a long and winding road with little excitement until the end.

5.0 out of 5 stars disavowed ex operative who loves pastries!
What rollicking good fun. Nathan Grant is an emotionally wounded ex CIA ex Ranger who is roped in for a black op that doesn’t go to plan. He takes it upon himself to sort out the mysterious violent political maneuvers in play, eating a lot of French pastries and yummy food as he does. That part wasn’t meant as humor in the book but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Great pacing, instrospection, action, and satisfying ending.
