    This is the first book I've read/listened to in this series and I enjoyed it (I bought the book and borrowed the audiobook through Audible escape). I tend to like the bad boy redemption kind of story so this worked out well for me. Reformed Alex was so sweet and I really liked Coach/Charlotte's strength. I liked their banter too and it was fun to see the set up for the rest of the characters in this series. There was a generally light use of sports terms so the sport itself was in the background (Coach is a sports agent and of course, Alex is a hockey player).

    In terms of the audiobook, Joe and Maxine are fantastic narrators and elevated the story. I've listened to their narrations before and as always, they did a great ob bringing the story to life.

That is until he gets into a scandal and then is traded to a new team, but his agent has almost had enough of his tactics. He walks in realizing that he might need to get his shhh together, but enters Charlotte. The owner of the apartments he will be living in and an agent who works with a man he looks up to. She tries to help him get his image back on track, they just didn't know that it wouldn't be an easy thing to do and that there are challenges that comes with trying to tame the hockey player.

    I loved Alex and Coach's story, it's a classic she can't stand him but is attracted to him anyway story. The subject of addiction is dealt with in this story, Coach grew up in foster care because her parents died of an overdose so she can't help trying to save Alex from his wild ways but she has to fight her attraction to him because it's against company policy to date a client and she has worked so hard to get where she is. I especially liked this book because I read their son's book first and wanted to see how they got together, now I want to read the rest of the series for to story of the rest of the parent of the kids i met in "Pucking Parker"

Agent Charlotte (Coach) Coachman lets him live in one of her apartments and when he drank too much she decided to straighten his life and get him back on the right path. Coach had been there when her parents had drug issues and she ended up in foster care.

    There aren’t many times I like books when one character messes up but this time it really works in the story when the hero needed someone to kick him in the butt to fix his life and career.

    Great book and well written! I can't wait for more of the face off series. Charlotte Coachman is Parkers agent who intends to help him clean up his reputation. Alex Parker is a womanizing bad boy who has a very bad reputation. I’m a sucker for a storyline with people who shouldn’t or can’t be together and Quinn played this one perfectly. Charlotte takes her job very seriously and her boss and father figure has a strict no dating policy between clients and agents, so no matter how badly she wants Parker, she can’t go there. The chemistry between these two was HOT and the sexual tension was heavy. Things change after the two met, and we get to see them develop as well throughout the book. The ending will leave your heart melting and will also leave you wanting for more.

    I love discovering new authors who write in one of my favorite troupes! My favorite thing about this book was Coach/Charlie/Charlotte. I love how she is this strong woman who has a presence all her own. Her strength and compassion coupled with her take no crap attitude makes her the best in her field. I love how Alex recognized from the beginning how unique she was and that he needs her in his life. I really love them as a couple! 😍 I can't wait to read more in this series!

    I found Jillian Quinn through a free book from the Face Off Legacy series and totally loved her writing. Having devoured the legacy series i was enamoured to find out Jillian had written about the parents of those 4 hockey players. Parker was just as great. I loved the dynamic between Coach and Alex and how their relationship started and grew. The chemistry between them is seriously not and leaves you begging for more. 5 stars just doesn't seem enough

    Enjoyed the book but did have an isssue with part of the 4th paragraph at the start of Chapter 11, starts: "Plus, this is pretty much my last shot unless i want to play hockey in CANADA or Russis. My Dad didn't push me as hard as he did so I could lose everything I'd ever worked for . The NHL and the Stanley Cup wasn't just my dream; it was his, too." I am a Canadian and we have some great hockey teams and players in Canada, plus the NHL was started in Canada and the Stanley Cup is also Canada. So I don't a player going to Canada would lose everything, especially sine hockey team across North America are trying to win an Canada hockey trophy.
