A great insight to the series
I listened to this as an audiobook, and it is the first book in the series that I've read or listened to. I have to say, these narrators were excellent!! The raw emotion portrayed was easily felt, especially when we were at the spicy scenes. The story itself is about the parents of Zane, one of the members of Less Than Zero. It deals with a lot of issues of an up-and-coming rockstar, Carter, that is leaving his girlfriend, Lianne, and new baby (Zane) behind. Without having read any of the Less Than Zero books, I can imagine that this is a great insight into some of the issues the band members will have moving forward in the series. I feel like I will be able to appreciate some of the issues in subsequent books and that I've already gotten to know a couple of the band members and their prospective women. I can't wait to dive into the rest of the series.

This is prequel to the series. It was short but packed a lot into it. Carter and Lianne were soul mates. We get a chance to see where everything began. They didn’t have an easy and quick road to HEA. This a is quick and dirty telling that sets us up for the series.
Great telling of the story. Even though it was a quick listen, the narrators brought the characters to life. I could picture Carter and Lianne during the arguments and grovel.

I am voluntarily leaving this review. I loved this book! It was great to be able to put a voice with the characters. Both of the narrator’s did an amazing job at reading the story and made you feel like you were sitting right by them.
Carter is in a band. Lianne is a ballerina. When they get together, an epic love forms until things become to much and life choices tear them apart. Follow them through the years to see how they cope and eventually become friends again.
I can’t wait for the next audio book to come out for Endless so I can continue to put voices to the characters and revisit all of the band again!
