    All the feels you expect from a cowboy romance and pure Dalyn Weller who knows ranching life. An enjoyable read from start to finish. I experienced the angst of two people who’d loved and lost their way until circumstances—including a surprise baby—corral them into the same town where the past is no longer willing to be kept silent. Pro family, hilarity, wisdom of the ages added organically in believable dialogue, and a colorful cast of characters you’ll wish were real! A blissfully happy, turquoise studded happy ending. Excited for the next book in the Apple Valley series.

    I enjoyed this much needed escape to Apple Valley Rancher's. I have book two ready to go for the rest of today's reading pleasure. The characters are all well written. I am excited to dive into the rest of the entire up and coming series. I gave this book a four star rating because one of my personal pet peeves interrupted the beautiful flow of this story three times. The event I was waiting for the most did not happen in the description as I was expecting from the beginning and waiting to get swept up in surprised reactions and family and friends preparations only became a mention as the next chapter starts with a new passing year missing the two events and reactions basically summed up in a paragraph. I always feel cheated. I have been hoping for the ups and downs of the emotions with the last moments preparations coming together in time for the big day or the big reveals. I would have also liked to have experienced a long wait first big meeting that became a mention later on. Other than my personal pet peeves I need to get over this book is a five star and is worth the read. I highly recommend this book by Dalyn Weller.

    From page 1, Cody and Molly are likeable characters. Broken, real, lost. Weller has a storytelling gift and this novel is thoroughly enjoyable all the way through. The writing is fresh and delivered with the perfect blend of all the things that make a great story-- storyworld, smart dialogue, plot points, romance. I found myself aching for the characters, cheering for them--walking alongside as they wrestle with whether or not one can forgive the unforgivable. Whether or not brokenness be healed within relationships. Within ourselves. Snag this book--you won't regret it. This is one of my top reads of 2022.

    This is a wonderful light love story. I appreciate that it was well written and authentic. Most of the ranching details were spot on so that the whole story could be enjoyed by readers familiar with the lifestyle. I don't normally read romances because they are so fake and dramatic. This is not one of those.

    I'm from Eastern Washington so the descriptions of good coffee and cosmic crisp apples was a bonus.

    I started the book last night and decided to finish it this morning after feeding the horses. A perfect way to enjoy a chilly winter morning!
