Publisher's summary

The first book in an exciting new series by Lucy Lennox!

Right as Raine features a rookie NFL player and his unexpectedly adorable live-in chef. The only problem? That chef happens to be the coach's son. And that's a personal foul.

A well entertained sport romance!

Tiller and Mikey's story is filled with pleasurable drama. I totally emerged myself with these two characters. Being able to smile throughout the reading of this story was so uplifting. The narrator's voice fit each and every character to perfection. I allowed his voice to take me away on this amazing journey, during the reading of the story. The Jock and the twink went together like smooth tea with honey ☕ 🍯. I so highly recommend for anyone who wants to relax while enjoying an entertaining story this one is for you. ENJOY!

Zero Angst! All the feels!

Total comfort read!
This made me feel warm and happy.
The MC’s were perfect—be OK with this and you’ll be OK with the book.
The plot—some parts were tough to swallow, but if you roll with it, this book is delightful!
Virgins
Low steam
Lots of feels!

There were a couple of plot points that troubled me:
—NFL team doesn’t have nutritionists on staff? Of course, if they did, then there would be no story.
—after the injury, the PT doesn’t play into the story till later (or it does but were nit told about it). Odd for a pro NFL player.

great listen

This book is sweet and spicy. It's a bit of a slow burn that really takes off halfway into the book. The second half is so good with much more character and relationship development. This is my second listen to the series, and I realized I hadn't left a review on the first go around. 😅 The remaining three books are excellent and some of my favorite MM romances. Narration by Michael Dean is fantastic as usual.

Love this series already!

I am already in love with this series!!! Tiller and Mikey are very fun characters, and their story is a fun read/ listen with some emotional moments as well. I like the cast of characters and look forward to learning more about them in future books.

So sweet and now I await the next book

This story was great I did feel unsatisfied with the ending only because I wanted more retribution for the way Mikey was treated by his family. And really of ALL the teams in the NFL you had to pick on the Bills.... As I lifelong bills fan I feel my journey is hard enough eiyh out my book escapes reminding me of our failures. Just saying. But I did love this book and need the next one asap

Great start of the new series 🍾

I loved this book very much ‼️ I’ve been a fan of Lucy’s books for over a year now and she does not disappoint - all of her stories are honest, so heartfelt and beautiful - they are making me laugh and sometimes cry, I know: if I want to have a great time - I gotta to for Lucy’s book.

Really good one!

I enjoyed reading this book, but listening to the audiobook being narrated by my favorite, Michael Dean just brings it to a next level.

The angst on this one is really low. It’s yet another athlete kind of tale, but this one is unique in its own way. The antagonist on this story really made me angry. What a d0uchecanoe.

The story would have been so much better if there was a resolution or if Mikey at least gets the last verbal slap down with his father. It kinda just ended abruptly, that conflict. I was thinking there would be more on the epilogue but I know that’s going to be the next book.

Well.. anyway, this one’s a great read, just not a five star.

Unsatisfied

This was a good book but there needed to be some conclusion with “Mike’s Mother and Father. I felt like it just dropped. Otherwise worth the credit 😀

10 Glorious ⭐ ⭐ 🌟 ⭐ 🌟 ⭐ Stars

Lucy has done it again. This was a book that I could not put down. I tell you the characters are do richly described and the detail is so sharp that I feel like I can see them in my mind. So having said that I have to announce that Mikeys family sucks. They all need a boot to their butts. Tiller is awesome he is so open and loving. I am extra happy that they got a fabulous HEA. Oh Lucy you have me hooked. now I need another book!

OMG

Lucy and Michael = Perfection. Tiller Rains is the First openly gay professional football player, who is in need of a Nutrionist, in steps Coaches baby son Mikey Vining. Mikey becomes Tiller's Personal Chef and 5 yrs later when Tiller is Injured they realise that they have feelings for one another. Beautifully written and narrated to perfection truly one of the best series I have heard this year.
