I’m Savannah Maris, a southern girl and hopeless romantic. I’m passionate about writing stories that incorporate southern charm with a little spice.

I grew up on a farm in a small southern town with a love of sports, dance, and music which usually find their way into my books. My husband and I have two grown children. When I'm not writing, my husband and I are attending sporting events, traveling, or working.

What will find in my books? You'll find suspense and romance in the Riverton Crossing Series. If contemporary romance is what you're looking for, try Crossroads of the Heart.

The boys from Riverton Crossing are back and just when I thought I couldn’t possibly love them anymore……….I was wrong! This series complete captures you mind, body and soul and once I started I couldn’t stop I had to read it to the end. I love how this author manages to weave so many emotions all seamlessly into the same book you get mystery and intrigue, there are loving tender moments, a few bouts of anger and fear and let’s not forget the off the charts steaming hot sex!!!

Usually in a series the first book is always the best and your heart kind of holds a special place for the first set of characters that is where this series was different for me this continuation was just as spectacular as the first and because all the characters are such vital parts you get to see them throughout each book. I loved getting to see how Mitchell and Makayla were, as well as getting a glimpse into what the future of this series could hold all while riding the Evan and Ginger train.

I knew from seeing Evan and Ginger in Unwelcomed Greeting that if/when they came together it was going to be explosive and Mrs. Maris did not disappoint. Watching these two people both struggle against and willingly accept their feelings for one another all while trying to build a relationship was amazing I could feel each of their emotions jumping off the pages. These two are each a force on their own but together they are a fiery red-hot inferno and I can’t wait to follow up with them in the future.

If you haven’t started this series you are missing out it was by far one of the best I have read and I cannot wait to see where this author takes us next, this is definitely not the average small-town love story this is raw, gritty and real.

This is the second book in a series. While I think they may be stand alone, reading in order is much better. This series is my first reads by this author. I am enjoying the characters, the plot and suspense. It seems as they get closer to The Who dun it, more happens keeping you in suspense. This was Evan and Gingers story. They have an instant attraction for 2 never settling down people. Evan goes from flings to forever as fast as his Camaro. And Ginger is right on board. I’m looking forward to the next book and how the finally comes to a conclusion!

WOW!!! Another HOT book in the series!! I could hardly tear myself away from book one and then this one comes along and it kept me just as intrigued. We get to hear Evan and Ginger's story which is pretty hot!!! I love how the characters from Unwelcomed Greeting were still there and we could continue to hear their story.

I had to make myself put this book down and every time I did it was like it was calling me to pick it up and keep reading. I loved so many things about this book. I loved the edible vanilla body glitter part and I need some for me. This book simply took my breath away. I truly would love to see this series made into a movie because I can just picture the characters and how wonderful it would be to see this on the big screen.

I am so looking forward to the next book in the series and hear some of these HOT characters stories because I know they are wanting to tell theirs.

Savannah you are one talented author that knows how to make the words dance across the pages and take the reader on a truly amazing journey.

I love me a good romantic suspense story. Add that to a small town and it's a recipe for drama and danger. I knew after reading the first book in this series that Savannah Maris had the bones of something good brewing so I decided to give the Unfinished Business a shot. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting to like it too much more than the other one but Evan Riverton changed my mind.

He was a bit of a mystery when I first met him but I soon learned that behind his mystique, he was just a good guy who wanted to do right by the people he cared about. It just so happened that is taking care of included a badge. And his brother's fiancee's best friend, Ginger. She was a wonderfully unexpected surprise and he fell hard and fast. She did too.

But when danger comes a calling from more than one side, Evan pulls out all the stops to ensure her safety. I liked that for as fearful as Ginger was for own situation, she was also still worrying about Evan. She had a heart of gold and a sassy side that lightened things up just the right amount.

There were more twists and turns and unexpected revelations in this book that at times I found myself re-reading bits to make sure I had the who and the what down right. I liked that while somethings were resolved in Unfinished Business, some weren't. But plans for the next step were being made. I honestly can't wait to see what Savannah Maris has in store for this not so sleepy small town next.

If I thought the first book in this series was good this one was better. Like with the first book this story has brooding alpha males, small fragile but fiery women, and a ton of sex. This Author writes mystery like no one I have ever read before, it is nail biting, edge of your seat, who done it bliss. The town is just as charming and I have become protective of the town. I know you are wondering how I can be protective of a fictitious town, but I am. I want to hop in a car and go defend it from all of the riff-raff that keeps making its way there. I love that this author mentions songs and the artists they are performed by through out the book and then at the end she has a play list that gives you every song mentioned. I will absolutely continue to read any book about Riverton Crossing.

5.0 out of 5 stars How fast can love grow?

How fast can love really truly grow and take hold? For Evan and Ginger it seems to be faster then the speed of light. Can they figure out how to live life and navigate his job? Will the families be accepting of how fast their lives mingle into.

Can the drama from their pasts leave them alone so they can get on with it?

This story will have you loosing track of time because it just flows. I love how all the characters just pop off the page. I can’t wait to see how this all finishes out in the next story.
