Mila Gray is the pseudonym for Sarah Alderson. Having spent most of her life in London, Sarah quit her job in the nonprofit sector in 2009 and took off on an around the world trip with her husband and princess-obsessed daughter on a mission to find a new place to call home. They are currently located somewhere between India, London, Canada, and the US. Sarah is the author of several YA novels, including Out of Control, The Sound, Hunting Lila, and its sequel Losing Lila, plus the paranormal trilogy Fated, Severed, and Shadowed.

    So far in this series of novels, I have read Stay With Me. Then I moved to this book and was in awe. I love this book series so much. When I got the book, I knew how Mila Grey wrote and this exceeded my expectation. The character development in the novel is great . I love how throughout the book she gave us kind of a backflash and she didn’t rush the back story in the beginning like most books. Also I feel like many can relate to this story. That love can come from anybody in the world even if it’s someone you’ve known for years. The setting , the plot, the characters , the dialog was just perfect. I envisioned me watching all of the drama happen. Like I was right in the novel as well. Great book and great author 10/10 would recommend !!

    I love Mila Gray’s books but this was my least favorite. The others I couldn’t put down. This one just didn’t do it for me. She went from saying it was seven years since they saw each other to later saying five years. Had a really hard time finishing it.
