Scozzari: Deviant, #3 Kindle Edition

4.2 out of 5 stars 120 ratings

Jeremy (Jez) Scozzari

At the age of four, I was kidnapped by an enemy of my father, and as a result of that day, I have learned to fight. Since the age of eighteen, I've been known as Jez (One Punch) Scozzari because the full force of my fist is enough to take down my opponent with just one hit.

With the help of my dad, I turned into a tatted up machine—built for speed, built for stamina ... in all senses of the word. I was prepared to fight, prepared for practically anything. But nothing had prepared me for the girl who had once stolen my heart to come catapulting back into my life again. One look from her when she turned up that day at college, and I was back to when I was ten-years-old. She was my first crush ... my first kiss.

And now that she’s back, there’s no way I’m going to let her escape this time.

Caitlin Summers

When I was ten, I fell for a boy who stole my heart. He was sweet, kind, and gentle. He was my first kiss—the one who made a lasting impression.

Then, at the age of thirteen, I had to move, leaving behind my heart which belonged to that sweet, kind, and gentle boy.

Now, I’m back, hearing that the sweet boy I left behind has turned into this tattooed bad boy with a reputation for fighting ... and an equal reputation for sleeping around.

I was determined not to let him in. Determined to put my walls up so high that not even the famous “One Punch” Scozzari could penetrate them.

But then came my first day of college when I saw him for the very first time in almost six years. One look from him and my solid walls came down with an earth-shattering crash. Just that one look and he had me ... and he knew he had me.

That was day one of Jeremy stalking me.

I’m screwed.

Please note: This book is a standalone. However, it is recommended to read Deviant and Redemption first as it contains characters who are in Scozzari.

Warning: Contains scenes which readers may find upsetting. Please proceed with caution.

As soon as I heard that there aaa gonna be another book from the Deviant series I had to jump on it. Finding out it was gonna be about the son of Tyler and Dean I knew I was gonna be hooked and I was.

Jez, is a hardcore fighter, with the nickname One Punch. He’s earned that name with winning all his fights with one punch. He’s touch on the outside and in the inside he’s a teddy bear. You’ll easily fall in love with Jaz.

Caitlin, didn’t have things so easy. Moving away when she was younger and not wanting to hurt her best friend, Jaz so she didn’t stay in touch with him. But now she’s back for college and she’s hiding something from her past that she doesn’t want out.

This book is phenomenal. It’s well written and draws you in. The emotions are raw and I felt them. Specially when Caitlin found out about her dad, I felt her emotions since I have been there in life. It’s not an easy thing to find out.

I won’t give anything way bc you have to read this for yourself. But I do have to say this, the chem between these two is amazing and you’ll hear will be there right along with them on their journey.

Jaimie definitely as a hit on her hands with this one.

I do love dark romances. So this
hits the spot. Just found that the Amy thing was so cliché. I mean there were so many signs but Jeremy still seems to fall for it but what can I say.....but other than that pretty decent

Hot damn !! I have been eagerly awaiting Jeremy's story ! It was flipping phenomenal! Caitlin's story was heartbreaking. But they couldn't of been more perfect for each other. Scozzari was packed with so much angst and suspense! I had to binge read it in one sitting. There was no stopping once I started. I love that we got to see Dean and Tyler in this book also. This author always gets me giddy with anticipation when she releasing a new book. And it never disappoints! I absolutely loved this book ! It is a definite must read.

    Genre: Contemporary Drama Boxing Romance

This is the second book by this author I have read and I was pleasantly surprised. The hero Jeremy and heroine Caitlin were best friends and young loves but she moved away. They reconnect while some serious drama goes down. Will old hurts, pride, guilt, and drama tear them apart? Or can love rise them above?
I feel the author has a good grasp on setting the scene and helping the reader understand the characters. I feel the primary dramatic storyline got shoved back and when it peaked it crashed quickly. The other main dramatic storyline played out rather well and got wrapped up in a nice fashion. It didn't just peak then hit bottom.
As for romance, steam is there making it a sexy book. But, since the H&h have history and it's like she never left the feelings are still there but truthfully you don't feel it. You feel the passion but not the love. Sure they want to be around each other but it feels like friends who have the hots for each other. You can feel the love of Jez's parents more than between Jez and Caitlin.
Still not a bad read and I did enjoy it and I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Yet, another masterpiece from mrs Jaimie Roberts.

Jaimie’s talent for spinning an intriguing, in depth story never fails to impress me or be the cause of envy ;)

Getting to experience Jeremy all grownup was a treat, and it was good seeing the fact he did loose that big warm heart you simply fall in love with in Redemption, when he’s only three years old.
It’s also a treat seeing so much of Dean in him.

Now I’m not a crier when it comes to books, but I definitely experienced some moisture gathering in the corners of my eyes at one point. At others I couldn’t help chuckling over Jeremy’s cockiness or elements that takes me back to both Deviant and Redemption.

This book is a gut tickling rollercoaster of emotions, it exhibits amazing writing and storytelling techniques and has you swooning, falling over yourself from sweetness.

Thank you, Jaimie, for yet an amazing read xx

This book is absolutely fantastic! This delicious gem is full of action packed goodness you can't get enough of. The characters you can't help but fall in love with. I highly recommend this book.

Jez is a hardcore fighter. They don't call him One Punch for nothing. Even though he is tough on the inside he is a teddy bear, and he is ready to roar! I quickly fell in love with his character.

Caitlin didn't have it easy. She was abused by her ex, and she is running away to start fresh. She goes back to her home town and she is reunited with Jez. The tension is crazy hot, and I love the banter between these two.

This is more like a 3.5 star rating. I honestly had high hopes cause honestly who doesn't love a good second chance bad boy romance. I mean its one of my favorites. I had issues with this book. It had good promise but I felt like Jeremy aka Jez came on a bit too strong especially with Caitlin's situation. She's been in a bad abusive relationship and is trying to start over. Yes her and Jeremy had a friendship that was strong until she moved. He was devasted. He made a name for himself over the years. Boxing was what he loved and he was good at it. I mean really good. He was just so over the top with her. He did things that I thought was a bit rushed. He could have just waited and she would have told him what happened to her instead of going behind her back to find out. He pushed her to fast I believe. I mean inviting her to fight was a good idea in theory but not for someone who's been abused. This book had promise but just fell flat for me.

Loved this book! So my twists and turns. I didn’t know what was going to happen next.

Jeremy is a boxer, well known as (One Punch) Scozzari because of taking down his opponents with just one punch...

Caitlin, Jeremy’s best friend and first love, left town with her family 5 years earlier. He was heart broken and never thought he’d see her again. Now she’s back. She’s avoiding him and hiding something. Only this time he won’t stop till she’s his. Even if he has to stalk her to get the answers he needs...

Caitlin has been through hell and looking for a fresh start. She knows that means facing Jeremy, but can’t bring herself to tell him what has happened. Only seeing him again it’s like she’s never been away...

This is a standalone. I still recommended to read Deviant and Redemption first as it contains characters who are in Scozzari. Wish I had read first ☺️

I loved finding out what became of Jeremy, although I did think we might have learnt more about Dean and Tyler as they grew older. Jaime didn't disappoint in her portrayal of Jez, as expected he was his father's son. There's possibly room to delve into Amy's character to find out how she became what she did, and how she turned it around.

I love This series but I have to say this is my favourite. I love the instant reconnection with Jeremy and Caitlin. It is like she never left.
The journey they go down is filled with love, sweetness, sexiness but loyalty. Totally love it

Wow i absolutely loved this book. It touched on so many points such as male rape, domestic abuse and ended in a happily ever after. I loved Caitlyn and Jeremy and this was probably my favourite book of the series.
