    Let me say this right up front: this has one giant cliff-hanger ending. And it's a much bigger cliff than the one at the end of book one. The plot twists and turns are a rabbit warren of a maze designed by a demented genius. Every time it looked like the ground beneath their feet was starting to stabilize, our wonderfully cruel and vindictive author would pull the rug out from under them - and all of us reading - again. I'm fascinated watching all the relationships develop and what it's taken to tear some of them apart. All of the intricate connection points between this family and the people who play a significant role in their lives dazzle me with their complexity. I'm desperate to get my hands on book three, where I'm praying for a genuine happily-ever-after for my favorite characters.

    This next book picks up where the last one left off.

    Taylor was in a car accident however it wasn't an accident. Merissa wouldn't leave Wade alone she kept popping up threatening him. Wade tries several times to tell Chloe about his past but she stops him because she doesn't think she needs to hear it. Yet when she runs into Merissa things come out that have her questioning whether she should ask Wade about his past with Merissa. Chloe learns the truth about Wade's past from Merissa instead of him and with all the danger surrounding them she thinks its best if they spend some time apart. Can Wade get his woman back? Will they learn who is behind all the danger to the family?

    This is an amazing series and just keep getting better with each installment. I can't wait for the next book to find out what will happen next. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

    This book continuations on from the first book in the series and you must read the first book before reading this one. The gist is that The Vanderville Family are being targeted but have no idea by whom. There are many really well drawn characters who you feel you want to know more about. There is so much going on in this book involving multiple plot lines and points of view featuring dishonesty, mystery, loyalty, friendship, love, and family. This book ends with another cliffhanger as did the last book so be prepared.

    I read an ARC of this book and am voluntarily writing my review.

    This is the 2nd part of the series and what a great continuation of the Vanderville Family and those out to cause harm and destruction to them. Wade has never totally forgiven himself for losing his baby and the mother, Merissa is out to cause him as much harm as she can. Wade is unable to get the truth out to Chloe and she is patient with him until Merissa gives her her version. During this time Taylor is in a coma from her accident which turns out to be caused from their stalker. Wes, Chloe’s best friend finally admits his feelings for Taylor while in the hospital and her cheating ex, Richard says he stills loves her! Ben and Regina the parents are dealing with their own drama and Brian, Regina’s true love is right beside her with his love and support. Chloe hits her breaking point once the truth comes out and walks away and Wade walks into a trap by the stalker causing him to look like he killed Merissa. The drama continues to grow throughout the story and all family members are affected in one way or another. This story ends in one tough cliff hanger and I was lucky to have part 3 ready to read!! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

    Wades irresponsibility caused a bad accident that his ex girl friend could not get beyond. As he tries to piece his life back together and forge ahead in a new relationship Merissa is determined to make his life a living hell. Can Wade and Chloe get that chance for a happily ever after or will Merissa put an end to it? There is enough drama and betrayal to go around for all of the characters! This will keep you glued to the pages until the last one is turned. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

    Khardine Gray did a great job with Secrets and Lies, it was well written with a great plot and great characters. This is the second book in the series. There's so much that has happened. The story is filled with different emotions, lots of drama and more. Wade and Chloe have been through a lot, especially and his troubles has just started. I don't want to give anything away so I'm going to stop there. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series.
    I enjoyed this book.Thank you, Khardine Gray. Great work :)

    The story continues in the lives of the Vanderville’s and the people connected to them. Once again we get multiple POV’s which I really enjoyed along with suspense, secrets revealed and the growing relationship between Wade and Chloe. When the past comes back to haunt Wade, he does everything in his power to protect Chloe, not only from the past but new dangers as someone is determined to ruin the family.
    Regina is trying to break free from her marriage while holding onto her one true love and being there for Taylor as she recovers from an accident. And Taylor finds a new friend that has always been there for her but in the shadows.
    With another doozy of a cliffhanger that has Wade in more trouble than he ever has been and the mystery person ramping up their game...no one is safe. I can’t wait to see how this all ends.

    I loved the twists and turns in this book which added so much to the storyline. The relationships are filled with drama and betrayal and in some cases, love. I was amazed by this family and the secrets they carry. The author has given the reader a fantastic story to sink their teeth into and as leaves the reader questioning what in the world Taylor was thinking? What was Wade thinking? Who is the observer? A wonderful mystery.
