Randal “RJ” Johnson specializes in Stress Elimination. For him, this is not a theory. A high-pressure financial career created overwhelming stress and led to a drug and gambling addiction. After hitting multiple bottoms, he desperately searched for answers in religion, philosophy, science, 12-step groups and personal development programs. Ultimately, he found the secrets to living without stress. Adopting these secrets through his unique method, the Effortless Stress Elimination Formula, permanently eliminates stress without all the frustrating effort taught by other programs. He truly believes the principles contained in this book can alleviate human suffering and change the way we experience life. His life’s mission is to teach these principles and help others enjoy a stress free life that is satisfying, fun, rich, and full of unexpected surprises.

RJ has an MBA in Finance from UCLA and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion at Claremont Graduate University. His academic research interests include the intersection of human consciousness with neuroscience and quantum physics. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with his family.

Easy to follow tools for the reduction of stress!
Excellent self help by Mr. Johnson. This is a step by step process that is thoroughly explained with examples and rationale along the way. The book covers the many facets of stress that occur in life, from our past, present and future. Mr. Johnson identifies responsibility as the foundation and main building block to all of his other steps. He breaks down the “responsibility killers” and ways to see them coming, then how to deal with them effectively. The remaining steps deal with feelings, fears and even our own inner self-prognostication. Some of the challenging questions that we all ask ourselves are, the identification of needs versus wants (something very confusing to most of us), being right, our world of certainties, and finally the focus on loving ourselves before we can reduce stress and be truly happy. A fast, entertaining and very interesting read. I highly recommend this book for anyone dealing with stress. Understanding WHY we get stressed is the first step in controlling it. GREAT BOOK!

    There is an approach to the author's method regarding how to use the seven secrets. Each one is free from stress. I've had problems with past writings where their 'x' number of secrets were good, but to wield my energy on each one caused stress. With this book, it's easy to see how peacefully one can have benefits with all seven secrets.

    Authentically written, step by step path to eliminating stress from our lives. The author speaks from experience and therefore isn't preaching musts. Live a purposeful life by freeing yourself of stress.

    This book very cleverly turns the idea of “stress” on its head, by helping the reader recognize that most negative stress is self-induced. Each of the “secrets” teaches a way to let go of the self-Induced kind of stress, so that we can deal with the good kind—the kind that makes us better and stronger. I’m touched by how self-disclosing the author is about his own struggles. It’s a book that has grown out of real overcoming.

    I like that the book focuses on using energy to work on myself first instead of trying to control situations and others. The biggest aha was internalizing the love for myself.

    BUY THIS BOOK! This is one of the BEST books on this subject I have read AND it is under 100 pages.
    This is a DIY book in dealing with stress. If you want quick relief and an ACTION plan, order it now.
    It could literally REPLACE your therapist - Great JOB, Randal Johnson!

    The all meat and NO FLUFF approach made it easy to understand. It feels like a travel guide weaving together simple, powerful concepts from books like the Mastery of Love, A Course in Miracles, and the Tao Teh Ching. Very thought provoking like the Power of Now. Definitely a good read if you like this kind of take-no-prisoners honesty and brutal self-appraisal.
