About the Author

Summer Hanford is primarily a fantasy author, but also enjoys science fiction, Regency and adventure. The first four books in her five book Thrice Born series are: Gift of the Aluien, Hawks of Sorga, Throne of Wheylia and Plains of Tybrunn. The final novel in the series is Shores of K'Orge. Summer's first full-length solo Regency Romance, The Archaeologist's Daughter, was released by Scarsdale Publishing in the summer or 2017. Shorter works include two Scarsdale Half Hour Reads series; Ladies Always Shoot First and A Lord's Kiss. Summer's work can also be found in various magazines and anthologies, including Aoife's Kiss, Something Wicked Anthology Vol. II, Daughters of Icarus, The Ampersand Review and Nightmare Walkers and Dream Stalkers Vol. II, as well as in her Thrice Born Chronicles, a collection of short stories designed to augment her Thrice Born series. Starting in 2014, Summer was offered the privilege of partnering with fan fiction author Renata McMann on her well-loved Pride and Prejudice variations. To date, they have over twenty popular Pride & Prejudice Fan Fiction stories currently available, including four national and international Amazon Classic Romance Best Sellers, with more variations to come. McMann's original and diverse interpretations of this classic love story, combined with Hanford's descriptive skills, create new and exciting versions of everyone's favorite tale that readers all over the world can't put down. More information on these works is available at www.renatamcmann.com. Summer is currently writing with McMann, working on her own Regency and Fantasy titles, providing content for, creating and managing websites, and is the fantasy and science fiction faculty member at AllWriters' Workplace and Workshop, LLC., an international creative writing studio. She lives in Michigan with her husband and compulsory, deliberately spoiled, cats. For more about Summer, visit www.summerhanford.com.

Summer Hanford writes gripping Epic Fantasy, swashbuckling Historical Romance, and best-selling Pride and Prejudice retellings. She lives in the Finger Lakes Region of New York with her husband and compulsory, deliberately spoiled, cat. The newest addition to their household, an energetic setter-shepherd mix, has been trying, and failing, for six years to gain acceptance from the cat, but is adored by the humans.

Since the moment she read her first novel, Summer’s passion has always been writing. As a child growing up on a dairy farm, she built castles made of hay and wielded swords made of fence posts. She is also passionate about animals, travel, and organizing her closet. Nothing pleases her more than a row of tops broken down by sleeve length and ordered by color…except working on her latest novel with her cat in her lap, her dog lounging on the rug dreaming of squirrels, and a cup of tea at hand.

This is a beautiful book and does an excellent job of tying everything together in a very dramatic and exciting finish. I've read so many books lately in which authors just seem to give up in the middle of the last book. Not this one. In fact, the pace is furious as the story comes to a conclusion and it was incredibly fun to read. I thought the 4th book in this series was my favorite until I read this one. Sad part is that it's the last of this series. I wish there were another five to go!

Shores of K’Orge is the perfect ending to the Thrice Born series. I finished this book in one day because I was unable to put it down once I’d started reading.
