Stolen: A Vampire Blood Courtesans Romance Kindle Edition
A Blood Courtesans Romance
As a child I was stolen, cornered into a life I never wanted. Now I’m eighteen and they’ve given me to a vampire.
Roman Kovak is the most beautiful man I have ever seen. He stirs up feelings inside me that I didn’t know existed. I was raised to be the perfect blood courtesan, existing only to feed him and submit to his every whim, but the vampire won’t lay a finger on me. He won’t set me free either.
We’re at an impasse.
Which of us will break first?

5 out of 5 stars
The story Stolen: A Vampire Blood Courtesans Romance by Marissa Farrar is a paranormal vampire story. Dakota has been raised to be a Blood Courtesan since she was 12 years old. Now the time has come for her to be purchased by a vampire and start her new life. When she first meets Roman she is confused as he is not what she expects a vampire to be like. Dakota is very confused until she learns of the reason she was purchased. What does this revelation mean for her and Roman’s future?
This is a wonderful story. It is told from the POV of Dakota. You will love the story and the characters. I was drawn to both Dakota and Roman. They both have strong and independent personalities and complement each other. This book also tugged at my heart and I found myself either brokenhearted by a situation or upset at characters for how they treat others.
This book is written so that it is very hard to put down. If you love stories that are paranormal and you love vampires, I highly recommend it. It is part of a series regarding Blood Courtesans however it can be read as a stand-alone. I would suggest that readers should be 18 years or older for some adult content and situations along with violence. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI am really enjoying this series and look forward to each new book. Being groomed to be a blood courtesan for vampires from the age of 12 is the only life Dakota knows, until she turns 18, when she has to begin her new life with the vampire who has purchased her. She is afraid to leave the training center and put in use what she has learned and she gets confused and angry and causes problems when Roman, her new owner, does not act like she has been trained to believe is normal for vampires. The story line has danger, action, surprises and romance. I hope someone picks up on this story and writes a follow up on what happens to the older girls rescued from the center (especially Christa who was healed by Lucas). I voluntarily agreed to review this product. My review is entirely my own opinion. I also purchased this book.

This Blood Courtesan story is about Dakota and Roman. Like all the books in the series it is not terribly long. Easy to read in a day.
The story begins with Dakota. She was stolen as a child and raised to be Blood Courtesan. The woman they all call Mom, has trained them to satisfy vampires both in and out of bed. Dakota has reached the age she can be sold and it taken to her new owner's apartment and left to await his awakening. When Roman first meets Dakota he does not act like she expects him to. He doesn't feed off her or have sex with her. In fact, he doesn't do anything with her, including give her access to any food while he is sleeping his day away. When he next awakens she confronts him and he takes her out to eat, but she still doesn't get any answers from him about his behavior. She can tell he wants her, so what is holding him back?
I do not want to ruin the story for you. If you have read the other books in the series you know what to expect. Other than the fact that it is too short, it covers all the bases. Hot man, sassy woman, sex, adventure, declarations of.... Nope tmi .
- Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI must say that I really love the Blood Courtesan series. Each story is different, but each book is about vampires and blood courtesans. Since there are a variety of authors, you get many different takes on the same subject. It is always exciting to see how and what path each book is going to take. Stolen took a very different path, but was very interesting and well done. Roman and Dakota started off with a major miscommunication which confuses and angers Dakota. She doesn't understand what is going on with Roman and cannot figure out why she is there. Finally, Roman let's her in on what is behind his behavior, and that is when all sorts of action starts happening. Dakota turns out to be very brave and strong. This is good, because when they have to deal with Mother, it gets pretty tense. And let me tell you Mother is a real mother *****r! I really enjoyed this book. My only complaint is that I didn't want it to end. I am really looking forward to the next Blood Courtesan book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseA good overall book.
I kind of wish that we would've had a dual pov in this story though. It would've been interesting to see a bit more into Roman.
Kidnapped and forced into a new life, Dakota only knows how to be the perfect blood courtesan. She's been trained in the many different ways to please her master and well worth the outrageous prices the master will have to pay for her. What she never expected was to be sold to a vampire who would rather go out and find his blood and sex instead of using her in the ways she was trained.
But the mysterious Roman has different reasons for buying Dakota, and falling for her wasn't part of the plan..
- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a much different story from the other books in the Blood Courtesan series. For one Dakota is raised up virtually as a slave, metal collar and all, her only way our of the house with bars, is to become the property of a Vampire, where she exchanges one collar ( black) for another ( made of gold) with Roman holding the only key. There is sexual attraction, yet Roman is not like how the instructors at her old "school" said he would be. He didn't take her blood or her virginity right away. For that matter, you'll need to read the book to find out what does happen between them, and it's not all pink roses and diamonds !! Good story, great paranormal romance, recommended it to any reader of the genre. You don't need to have read the other books in the Blood Courtesan series to read any of the books as they are all stand alone. If you have read any of the other books, be prepared for a few surprises. I received a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

5.0 out of 5 stars My name is Roman Kramar, and I am your master. 5 BLOODY FANGS
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseYou understand why you’re here? To be a companion to a vampire. I’ll do everything I can to satisfy you. ME: *bows down* Hello Master. Is there any way I can *ahem* service you? What she said, but double. *naughty wink* WOW!! SIGN ME UP!!!! HOLY SMOKIN’ VAMPIRE, FANGMAN!! I kissed a Vampire and WHOA BABY! Did I EVER like it!! Hell, I LOVED IT!!! wink I am blown away by just how BLOODY WONDERFANG this story is!! The characters are well-developed & multifaceted, the storylines captivating, the story itself flows like blood through a vein, capturing my attention and my heart and never letting it go! THIS is the very reason I love, Love, LOVE Vampires so much!! Roman is ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY hot, sexy and oh so very perfect!!! This may be my first taste of Marissa, but it is DEFINITELY not the last!! This book is so.. so... so ABSO-FANG-LUTELY AWESOME that I can't even find the words to explain WHY I love it so much other than IT'S ABSO-BLOODY-LUTELY VAMPIRETACULAR!!! Roman is a Vampire God to me! The exact kind of Vampire that drew me to them in the first place oh so many years ago, that had me addicted, craving more, and wishing, praying, dreaming & hoping that Vampires were real and that I would one day find my own immortal ever after love in his arms! Marissa has captured that love, that essence perfectly! Dakota is one very, VERY lucky gal!! What I wouldn't give to be her! And thanks to Marissa, I WAS Dakota! Well, at least for the length of the story I was! Marissa is one FANGNOMENALLY talented author who sucked me straight into the story right from the very beginning, urging me, compelling me to live the story with Dakota, AS Dakota, thoroughly & immensely enjoying every single second!! The magic of the blood bond defies description! That is one more aspect of the Vampires that I fell in love with, craved with every fiber of my being, and yet not one that I have come across in a really long time! Never mind Roman, Marissa has STOLEN my heart!! I am completely, wholly, utterly consumed - mind, body, soul, blood & heart!! (While I love, Love, LOVED every single story in this BITETASTIC series of Michelle’s, Stolen is my FANGORITE! ssshhh! Don’t tell the other authors, okay? :) I DID love every story, but Stolen just had that extra magical touch for me! Not that I can really compare any of these stories to another! That is what makes this multi-author Blood Courtesans series so great – seeing, reading every authors contribution to this BLOODNOMENAL World!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Very original take on the Blood Courtesan idea
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseDakota has been cared for and raised to be the perfect Blood Courtesan. When she reaches 18 she "graduates" and is sold to a vampire who will own her and use her as he chooses. Roman (her purchaser) is gorgeous and not at all what she has been brought up to expect - he refuses to touch her not feed from her. Dakota explains in no uncertain terms that she is not happy about this. Will they come to a truce where they both understand each other?
I loved this story - it was very different to the other Blood Courtesan stories and so was very original even though it was part of the same "franchise".It was very well written and I could relate to everything and everyone. I would definitely read something else by Marissa Farrar as this was very original.

4.0 out of 5 stars A sexy vampire, a trained courtesan, and a good and enjoyable story.
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a short fast paced novella that manages to deliver a good story-line, rounded believable characters and get to the emotions of the situation without feeling too rushed. It is a tale about a woman trafficking young human girls to be blood courtesans to vampires and focuses on Dakota, newly sold, having been in training for 6 years. The story takes some unexpected paths which keeps the pace up and the interest keen. There are a couple of sex scenes but they fit well and are not gratuitous. For me it could have been better as a longer book but nonetheless a very worthy 4 star read.
I received an ARC from the Author and have chosen to leave a review. I review everything I read these days regardless of price or where the book came from and always give my honest opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great book in the Blood Courtesan series
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis time, Marissa Farrar brings us a blood courtesan romance. Dakota was stolen from her family as a small child and for the last year's has been trained to be a blood and sex courtesan for a Vampire. Sold to Roman, she expects to lose her virginity, be fed from and paraded in front of his friends. But that's not how it goes .... a great book with scary and sexy scenes
