Put a finger down if you’ve ever been a single woman who got stuck in a New York City elevator in the middle of a summer blackout with your former high school sweetheart—whom you haven’t seen in years—while pregnant with a baby that isn’t biologically yours. And you can’t believe how handsome that blast from your past is, so you unwittingly flirt with him a little even though your life is so crazy complicated you’re barely keeping your head above water, but everything about him makes you think you could totally still be in love with him.

*puts a finger down*

What? Just me?

Needless to say, my current status is thorny. And no, I didn’t miss how close that word is to another one.

Even though he’s the epitome of tall, dark, and incredibly handsome, Remington Winslow has been a single bachelor for most of his life. It’s clichéd and basic—until you consider the fact that once upon a terrible time, he got left at the altar.

He doesn’t do relationships. He definitely doesn’t fall in love.

And I’m just trying to survive a tangled web of unexpected motherhood and running one of the top real estate firms in the city that never sleeps.

He’s the jaded guy who doesn’t want to settle down, and I’m the career-focused woman with more baggage than a 747 can hold.

We’re just two friends who used to be in love.

Now, if someone would tell my hormones I’m not a teenager anymore, I’d be set.

— Payton Box, Goodreads Reviewer ★★★★★ — Well the last thing I expected to do when I started this book was to finish it without a single break. I wanted to savor the last Winslow brother book...and I failed for the best reason. This book was way to hard to put down.

— Valeen, Live Through Books Blog ★★★★★ — I have been waiting for the eldest Winslow sibling's story since the very beginning of this series, and damn did it live up to my expectations! It's heartfelt, sweet, and the emotional and physical connection between Maria and Remy is so strong, so intense that it made me long for that time when I first fell in love with my husband.

— Amy Dickinson, Goodreads Reviewer ★★★★★ — Have you ever read an entire series, finished the last book, and felt let down because the final book didn't leave the series on a high note? Fear not, friends. That is NOT the case with Max Monroe's The Redo, the final book of their Winslow Brothers' series. In fact, I will state it plainly here: it's my favorite of the four.

The Second Chance of All Second Chances!

The Second Chance of All Second Chances!
“I’m asking you for one more redo. One final redo. But this time, I want it to last forever.” What a fantastic ending to what has been an amazing series! Remy’s and Maria’s second chance was everything! Max Monroe never fails to amaze me with their impeccable skill of laugh out hilarious and burn your kindle pages hot! Reading The Redo, one minute I was laughing until I cried and the next minute I was reaching for the highest setting on my fan. Prepare yourself because this baby is an epic and delicious slow burn but the wait is oh so worth it. That Remington Winslow had a filthy mouth and wasn’t afraid to back it up in the best of ways. He was also sweet and thoughtful which made some incredibly swoon worthy moments. Maria was a force to be reckoned with, even after all she had been through, she stood fierce and resilient. I positively adored her. “C: Tell me, Remington, how does it feel to be in love again? Me: Like coming home.” Max Monroe was determined to put me in my feelings with this one. Remy, the self-declared forever bachelor getting his much deserved happily ever after was a beautiful thing. “Being connected with Remington Winslow is an experience like no other.” Watching Remy and Maria‘s journey back to each other left my heart so full it ran over. I loved the flashbacks that gave insight into their history and how it’s partially shaped their present. It was perfect in bringing everything full circle. It’s such a bittersweet feeling because while I couldn’t wait for this final book, I also hate to say goodbye. That extended epilogue though, talk about all the happy tears. My heart couldn’t handle, it was absolute perfection! The Redo along with every other story in the Winslow brothers series is not to be missed!!

The Redo (Winslow Brothers Book 4) by Max Monroe is smashingly swoony and sexy, full of heart and humor, and also amazingly adorable.
I cannot gush enough about this book, but I will try to keep it brief because this is a must romcom read!!! Remy and Maria, with their shared history, are clearly the perfect match. I adore their story for so many reasons, but the ones that come to mind first is that it's their second chance! Gah, I love second chance romances and when this writing duo added in witty banter, outright laugh riot text threads, and a sweet baby? My heart was firmly in their grip. I was team Remy + Maria all the way from the book description.
While Remy and Maria have their shared love history, that doesn't mean it is an easy road. But I just swooned over Remy in his perfectly imperfect pursuit, persistence and determination to take care of his Ria. Maria does her best to remain firmly independent and tries valiantly to not need or want to need Remy's help. Little Izzy has her own ideas about how that should go and these two are on their way to realizing what everyone else already knows; they never fell out of love in the first place.
Overall, my heart is so full! I am truly a sucker for second chances and babies. This romcom ticks all those boxes (and more!) as it is high on humor from several fronts (the Winslow brothers are just laugh out loud hilarious), swoon worthy in just about every way imaginable (again, FOUR Winslow brothers!) and as heartfelt as it is sexy hot (Remy is a Winslow after all). Absolutely a 5*+ read you don't want to miss! And even though Remy is the last brother to finally fall for his one and only, it is truly a standalone story. If you haven't read the other Winslow brother's hard fall, if you enjoy this one, check the others out too. You won't be disappointed.

If you're looking for a cute story with little to no angst, this is the book for you. I enjoyed the first part of the story, especially when Izzy was born, but the middle to almost all the way to the end became a bit too cutesy for me. Remy was almost too good to be real, and it was fun reading how he interacted with the baby, and the interactions with the brothers were cute. But Remy's and Maria's relationship became a bit stagnant, and I didn't understand why he wouldn't formally commit to this woman, whom he obviously loved. Towards the end, when the two were forced to confront each other about their feelings, was a redeeming point in the book, however. And the epilogue was quite satisfying.

The editing was superb. It's a pleasure to read a book that isn't filled with grammar errors or typos

When I read “second chance" I already started happy sighing. But when it's Remy, the oldest of the Winslow siblings getting a second chance with his first love? Swoon!! And Remy and Maria's second meet cute couldn’t be any more poignant and heartfelt.

Maria is exactly what Remy needs to reawaken his cold, guarded heart. Yes, he got left at the altar, but dude, it's been years. Time to move on. And of course, the mysterious, eternally youthful psychic, Chloe, plays a small but pivotal part. That's what happens when you see a psychic during a bachelor party. It may take years for a prediction to come to fruition, and Chloe sees it all.

Getting stuck in an elevator with her first love isn’t the setting Maria would have imagined, seeing Remy again after all these years. And having your high school boyfriend deliver your sister's baby you’re a surrogate for was also not a square on her bingo card. Seeing Maria and helping her through an emotional childbirth does something to Remy, and it's the first crack in the façade protecting his heart. He walked away once, but there's no way he's leaving Maria, and her beautiful baby, this time.

Oh my heart, this one has a little of everything! From the crazy banter and outrageous antics of the Winslow brothers to an adorable, scary-smart kid who quotes statistics and probabilities to NFL players, to two single, career-minded people navigating rekindled love and a new baby while keeping meaningful memories alive. My emotions were all over the place, between laughing, crying, blushing, and swooning. These gifted wordsmiths masterfully manipulated my heartstrings and I loved every minute of it!

This one is bittersweet, ushering in the end of the series. We've spent so many hours with this family, experiencing every part of their lives with them. So I say farewell, knowing there is lots of adventure, good-natured shenanigans, and most of all, so much love in store for this beloved family, and I’m crossing my fingers for a next-gen series so this doesn’t have to be a final goodbye.

After you read this one, which I’m completely confident you’ll love, you'll want to get the extended epilogue, trust me. It. Is. Epic! Yes, you'll be added to the newsletter, which is actually a side benefit, because the NLs alone are so much fun! You see, even though the Winslow Brothers series is complete, I have zero doubts these talented ladies have some amazing things in store for us, and I can’t wait to read what they bring us next!

    Ok so first things first:
    Spice/heat: 🌶🌶🌶/🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶(3/5)
    Medium burn
    Male/female
    Dual POV
    Violence/gore (0/5)

Tropes: high school sweethearts, second chance, found family, pregnancy/single mother, nice guy/cinnamon roll hero

Premise in a nutshell: twenty-something years after a high school break up, the two main characters run into each other by accident in an elevator that gets stuck during a power outage. And despite being in their 40s and having lead complex lives...the old feelings linger, spark and then catch fire.

Thoughts: this was a charmingly sweet story. Very low on angst, no drama, not stress, no third act break up, just two very kind, loving, decent humans, reconnecting and navigating their way through a reacquaintence while juggling a newborn between them. Somehow this author(s) straddled the lines between sweet and endearing without being overtly corny or sappy. This book was a literal pleasure to read from start to finish. It makes you feel good, makes you smile, makes you laugh, makes you swoon at times. Beautifully done.

The Redo just joined a small lost of my favourite books.
It's really well written, story is captivating, characters are AMAZING- I can't find any fault in both main characters (I may even have a bit of a crush on Remy) and it was a perfect mix of heartbreaking and funny.
I recommend this book with my whole heart!

I don't know why but for some reason I put off reading this series for a while. Once I started reading it however, I completely devoured all 4 books in a week. The whole series was great, so entertaining, and sweet, heartfelt and steamy. I absolutely love Max Monroe books, there's something about them that just feels like an early 2000's rom com. My favourite in the series was a toss up between this one and book 2, the MMC rely was so smooth, swoony, and perfect, it made it hard to pick a favourite. All the stories were equally entertaining. Deffs worth the read. Happy reading!

In true Max Monroe fashion, I couldn’t stop laughing with this book! But there is also a heavy dose of melt my heart moments!
Remy and Marie were both fantastic characters and I couldn’t get enough of their entire story- I loved seeing what would happen next.

Maria is so strong, caring, and hardworking-her story was beautiful and heartbreaking. Remy is absolutely the sweetest, most sworn worthy, wonderful man! The connection and chemistry these two share was brilliant. I loved the flashbacks we got of Remy and Maria as teenagers, it was the perfect addition to the present day story. Watching as they rekindled their romance, and how well they worked together as a team was so great!

The relationship between all the family is, as with the other books, phenomenal. The love they have for one another is so evident on the page, but the pure friendship they also share, including the banter, the jokes and advice makes it! Don’t forget to grab the extended epilogue!

I am so sad this is the last book in the series, the Winslow family is such a wonderful read, but what a way to end it! I loved Remy and finally getting his story was worth the wait!

5.0 out of 5 stars I am 100% owned by Max Monroe and the Winslow Brothers
Reviewed in India on July 17, 2022
Did I spend my Wednesday shirking all responsibilities and reading this book? You bet I did. And I have zero regrets. Because Max Monroe definitely saved the swooniest and the best of the brothers for the end. Though, to be fair, I love Flynn (from The Pact) the most still, but Remy is almost sharing that spot. This book made me laugh, sigh and just swoon a whole lot and that’s exactly what I love about Max Monroe’s books. You’re so rarely bored!

    In The Redo, you’ll find:
    ✨ second chance romance
    ✨ friends to lovers
    ✨ forced proximity
    ✨ a delicious slow burn
    ✨ the eldest winslow brother
✨ a hardworking, bada** real estate queen
    ✨ winslow family shenanigans
    ✨ THATCHER KELLY
    ✨ so many feels!

Max Monroe basically wrote this book for me with all of the tropes and all of the swoon. I’m such a big fan of friends to lovers, so obviously this was right up my alley. And then toss in one of my favourite tropes of all time, second chance, and I’m basically putty in your hands. I’ve read and loved all the Winslow brothers as their books came out and I was always so curious about Remy, because he got the short end of the stick with Cleo and her fortune telling all those years ago. And I felt so bad, I wanted to protect him. But when we got to the end of The Secret and we saw Remy step out of the elevator with Maria, I rejoiced! I loved that the story shifted between the present day and their past, giving us enough of a glimpse into understanding Maria and Remy’s connection to each other. And their bond, guys…it was so beautiful!

Maria’s pregnant when she crosses paths with Remy again and between being run off her feet because of her job and trying to hold it together through the pregnancy, getting trapped in an elevator with the only man she’s ever really loved is a kick in the stomach. Somehow, Remy proves to be everything he was back when they were teenagers and continues to deliver on the swoon and the kindness. For Remy, after being left at the altar 14 years ago, he’s a little jaded about love and relationships. One night stands are fun and enjoyable, but running into Maria again and being forced to spend all that time with her in an elevator awakens all the feelings he thought he had shut down.

There were so many things I loved about this book and I really want to be careful not to give too much away. But just know that Remington Winslow is the most generous man in the family. The way he steps up for Maria every single time, how he’s always there no matter what. How he seeks her out even when she’s trying to do things on her own. I loved that even though Maria wants to do things on her own and probably can, Remy still gives her the opportunity to not do it all. He never belittles her need to have control over every minute of her life, he just encourages her to take it a little easier. And Maria, what a strong character. She’s been through so much and lost even more, but she’s still got her head held high and she’s powering through. Maria’s job has always come first and her struggle to find the balance between her old life and the new one really shakes her up. But she does it and I admired her for it.

If you thought you got a lot of Winslow shenanigans in the first three books, you were mistaken. Everything is turned up in this one, simply because Remy’s the last of the siblings to get hitched and the others are all insufferable about it. I loved seeing the brothers again and I loved seeing Winnie and Wes. As always, Thatcher delivers on his awesomeness. But you know what I loved the most? There’s this one scene between Remy and Flynn at a carnival and guys…the amount I laughed during that scene was kinda crazy.

Unlike the first three books, this one isn’t as steamy and wild. It’s more about the emotional connection between Maria and Remy and honestly, I’m here for it. I loved how they slowly built trust and how their pasts tied in with their future and how every minute they’re together, it all just makes sense. The forced proximity offered a healthy dose of intense feelings which later turned into some sexual tension, but seriously, the emotional connection and chemistry had me in its grip and I never wanted it to let go.

I can’t believe this is the end of the series (I need to read the extended epilogue to see if there’s something waiting for me in the future), because I have loved spending time with the Winslow family and I can’t wait for more!

It was cute and funny and really sweet. The classic chick-flick storyline with a beautiful HEA ending. I loved Remy and Maria’s beautiful second chance to love relationship and how sweet and hands-on step in dad he was with Izzy. I loved the crazy Winslow family who embraced Maria back into their fold and gave her all the love and support she lost when her own family passed away.

I also loved the epilogue, which ends on a cliffhanger, but I’m a bit miffed that I had to join the author’s mailing list in order to get access to the bonus epilogue, but it was worth it because the ending was so beautiful. ♥️
