Andrew, one of three coaches for a college men’s baseball team, gets the short straw and has to buddy up with one of the players when the team goes out of town for a tournament. All of that would be fine except for the fact that he’s bunking with Cole, the cocky, moody, infuriating jock who is also extremely attractive. Plus, Andrew is a closeted gay man and Cole is certainly homophobic. Andrew knows this whole trip will be hell.

But after the team goes out for a night of drinking, Cole comes back to their shared hotel room more than a little buzzed, and he does something that Andrew never thought would happen. Cole kisses him.

    Cameron D. James is a life-long lover of books, voraciously reading everything from the classics to sci-fi, romance to science and nature, and thrillers to erotica.     I enjoyed the first two books in this series quite a bit, so I had high hopes going into this one.

    Cole and Andrew are a terrific pairing. After some nice, prickly tension at the beginning, they end up fitting together beautifully. The sex in a Cameron D. James book is always hot--I've only read Dominic LeBlanc in their collaborations--but in this book, there's an extra spark to it. The kinkier the characters' scenes get, the more connected they feel. (This is something a lot of BDSM erotica misses, but the dynamic here is just right.)

    A solid story holds the whole thing together, with some nice conflict--both internal and external--propelling our fellas through the action.

    Highly recommend.

    There's a time and a place for every genre and this is definitely one to read indoors. With a loved one. LOL.

    When an assistant coach and a player end up sharing a hotel room for a few nights, things get interesting. And steamy.

    This was pure fun, as well as the best kind of torture; both for the reader and the characters. Told in alternating POV, the descriptions from both Cole and Andrew were believable and real, and HOT. By the end, I was floored after reading about their hijinks and the thought of something more after the season was through. A bit of hope for the romantics.

    Delightfully dirty!
