“Catch me if you can,” that’s what Grace de Bruin says to her bodyguards as she runs away from them.

Grace may be a princess, however, she’s definitely not demure or regal. She has a penchant for escaping her guards, but she’s not ready for Taylor ‘Hawkeye’ Edwards. He doesn’t intend to let her out of his sight.

When Grace is sent away to avoid being embroiled in a war, she ends up being put into the PINC programme. Princesses In Need Corporation. They help princesses by extracting them, transitioning them, and transforming them so that they won’t be recognised and can live in the outside world whilst their country is in turmoil.

Taylor has been a marine for years and after an injury is asked to look after Princess Grace, as no one else can handle her. Taylor tells them that he will be her last bodyguard. He will tame her.

Neither of them expected to end up in bed together. And when she’s taken from Taylor it’s a race against time to find her and bring her home.

Can he find her in time? What happens when it’s time for Grace to go home? Can Taylor live in her World? Did he manage to tame his princess?

I’m a USA Today Bestselling author who loves writing. I’ve released over 30 books under different pen names. I write all shades of romance, from my Chocolate Box Romances which are sweet and contemporary, through to my dark and suspenseful romances.

I write whenever I can and don’t know what I would do without being able to write my stories down. I work part-time in a pharmacy and I run an author services business the rest of the week so there’s been less time to write. But when I get a chance then I am all in and submerged in the life of my characters.

I love chocolate, wine and reading. And love it when I can do all three together. With two late teens kids, that opportunity doesn’t arise that often. Instead I become Mom’s Taxi for them.

    This is a charming short and sweet slow-burn romance between Princess Grace and her bodyguard Taylor. In order to keep her safe and avoid having Grace embroiled in a war she's placed in the PINC program. It's a group that helps extract princesses,transition them and transform them so that they won't be recognized and they're free to live in the world. Taylor is a Marine and after an injury he's asked to look after Princess Grace since nobody else can handle her. Taylor accepts the assignment assuring them that he'll be the last bodyguard for the Princess since he intends to tame her. However Grace doesn't want to be tamed and when she decides to try outsmarting Taylor by escaping she ends up in more trouble than she bargained for. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this charming short and sweet slow-burn romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

    I was entertained by the slow burning, sparks flying chemistry between Grace and Taylor. Taylor did his best to protect Grace and she did her best to out smart him with her escape, but found herself in a world of trouble. Their story was well written and flowed nicely.

    I needed a quick read, some romance, something to pick me up. The Bodyguard’s Princess did all that and more. I really enjoyed diving into this story by Krissy V, it was the perfect pick me up that I needed. It was not over complicated, or dramatic, it was wonderful. It had all the things I look for in a romance story, with a storyline that was charming, sweet, and SIZZLING! There was no denying the attraction and chemistry between Grace and Taylor.

    Sometimes I want a short story, to give me a boost from a tough day or tough week, and this story did just that. In some ways I would have loved for this story to have been longer because I liked the characters and enjoyed being in their company, with this said, this story does not fall short. Nothing is left unsaid, it does not feel rushed, and it ties everything together perfectly.

    If you enjoy short romance stories or like me you need a quick pick me up, The Bodyguard’s Princess by Krissy V will not disappoint! I will definitely be checking out more of Krissy v’s books.
