- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2019This is a very fitting ending to a great trilogy. All three books could be read as stand-alone novels, but to get the full impact, it is best to read the entire trilogy. These books are well-written, with good character development. This book, like the others, contains a long story, so it is not one that can be easily read in a single sitting, even though you hate to put it down. I enjoyed the delivery mode of alternating between the historical background and the present-day events. There are many twists and turns that keep you guessing throughout the story. You get to see where and why an item of interest gets hidden, then you see how the item gets discovered and what happens as a result of that discovery. I feel that the story ended with the major issues and questions resolved, but there are certainly opportunities for side stories and for following the present-day characters in continuing adventures. I highly recommend this trilogy if you enjoy historical fiction. I’m looking forward to reading more of Ms. Wynne’s writing.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2019I did not enjoy this book as much as I did the 1st 2 books in the trilogy. It seemed to drag on in places. It did have some good plot twists and danger for Nina and Maria. I did find it hard to believe that Maria could pull off portraying a man. Even though she is tall, I would imagine her hands and face to be delicate. There were quite a few editing issues. I find this to be distracting when I’m reading. The story line switches back and forth from 1492 with Maria to modern day with Nina. The ending gives us something to think about with what we search for in life.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2019Years and years ago I read a novel featuring the Alhambra and have wished to visit ever since. Paula's descriptions were nearly as wonderful as being there, imagination notwithstanding! Ana/Monte and Nina are lovely, strong heroines separated by centuries but with similar quests to understand and protect the Luna Legacy. Both women nearly lose their lives and feel betrayed but soldier on and are rewarded with a knowledge of themselves and riches beyond counting.
I do hope that Paula Wynne ads to this family of stories for a long time to come!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2019A great ending to a wonderful trilogy. Reminiscent of Dan Brown, The Luna Legacy combines history, mystery, and thriller to capture you from the first chapter and eagerly keep you turning pages.
The storyline is intriguing, the characters well-developed, and the writing flows well with rich detail. This was a book I couldn't put down, and I am saddened this wonderful tale has ended.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and I liked it so much I also bought a copy of the book.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2019I really liked the first two books...this one seemed to drag
- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2019One of the best trilogy historical conspiracy reads severe. The weave of the two stories in past time and current were done exquisitely and then brought together for a well told ending in the Luna Legacy.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2019Although this is the last book of the trilogy, like the other two, it could have been a stand alone book. The basic story lines in all of them were very interesting and believable. I would have like to have seen them more related to eachother.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2019The Torcal Trilogy is a GREAT read! A very informative book that combines historical fact and fiction.

I have really enjoyed this trilogy. The final book in the trilogy, this book pulls everything together. Superbly written, blending accurate history with great characters, and a great read. I suggest reading it as a trilogy
