- Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2025Format: Audible AudiobookVerified PurchaseI have always believed people come into your world for a reason. Some LEAVE your heart COMPLETELY GUTTED and some relationships are meant to be brief.
Taylor is BROKEN, ANGRY and ready to make Angus Hollingsworth's life miserable and destroy him.
This domestic thriller involves Taylor our “Sunday girl.” Angus is not a good man. When the break-up reveals there is a “sex tape” on the internet, this is the final straw and she is out for REVENGE.
I am not a huge believer in Revenge, but in this case I would definitely contemplate it.

My Thoughts:
From the very beginning of The Sunday Girl, I was intrigued by Taylor’s efforts to get revenge on her very cruel boyfriend. But soon she is simply trying to escape him with her life intact. It was fascinating to follow her along as she took steps to protect herself.
By the end, she was desperately trying to stay ahead of him and his efforts to ruin her life…and possibly kill her. A surprising turn of events changed everything for her…and kept me rapidly turning pages. 4.5 stars.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2023Format: KindleVerified PurchaseIt was so tragic and parts of it reminded me of my marriage, I guess that's why I found it hard to put down even though it is not something I would normally read.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2019I looked at the book "The Sunday Girl" and thought maybe I will read it one day. One of my friends had just read this book and" Oh my God" she would not shut up about it. The book dominated our conversation for about 2 weeks. I then decided to read the book and honestly it one of the best reads ever. I loved the storyline and the drama along the way. It is really well written and it kinda grabs you and it won't let go. I am so glad I have read the book and I now have my entire group of friends keen to read it also. I look forward to the next book :-)
- Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseTrigger warning: Major abuse here!
This book, while hard to read, is an excellent exploration of abuse in a relationship. It’s like watching a mouse running through a maze and getting shocked at almost every turn. Painful, but that little mouse keeps going!

- Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2018I really enjoyed this book and was gripped from the very first page! It is fast paced and thrilling right till the end and hard to predict! Well written and hard to believe this is the authors first published book!
The only thing that annoyed me was how weak and naive the main character was portrayed at times! I felt frustrated at some of the situations she put herself in and wanted her to be stronger. I also wish the author developed all the characters and the story a little more. I know that is probably not the type of book the author was aiming for but I was left wanting more when I finished!
All in all a great read! Would definitely recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this book!
Keeps you wanting more, I read this in three days, maybe because I was bored or maybe because it was so damn good!
It’s hard to read a book if you’re not into it within the first few pages, this grabs you straight away.
Worth a read!

4.0 out of 5 stars Gripping Tale of Revenge
Taylor is hurt by Angus, and she’s determined to ruin him, they way he ruined her. But when he wants her back, has he really changed, or is it part of a larger plan.
The book starts with Taylor being hurt and humiliated by her boyfriend Angus after he puts a sex tape of her online. So Taylor starts to come up with a plan to get her revenge. She doesn’t want petty revenge, she wants to destroy his life.
There are references throughout this book to something that Taylor has done, but we’re not sure what. Tension builds up throughout as Taylor and Angus both become more determined to ‘win’, and their actions become more dark and twisted.
Neither of the characters are particularly likeable, but this doesn’t take away from the enjoyment. I was still fascinated througout the book as I wanted to know what happened, and I couldn’t help but root for Taylor.
I finished this book in one day, and had to take some time when I’d finished to process what I had just read, rather than starting something else straight away. I’ll be keeping a look out for future releases by this author.

3.0 out of 5 stars Racy and enjoyable
I like the pace of the story which moved quickly and smoothly throughout. The entanglement was not difficult to follow and interesting. There was nothing to dislike , maybe the language could be tempered but I did not find it unsettling. Easy to read and enjoyable
