    I really enjoyed these stories. I found them to be intriguing and entertaining. I am not a big fan of horror and gore, the more gore the less I like it. These tales come at some traditional topics from an unusual perspective which delighted me quite a bit. There is a werewolf, a vampire, precognition, ghosts, sea monsters and more. Some will be familiar and some will be otherwise.
    I think any fan of horror will enjoy this collection.
    I award "The Warning Signs" a score of 4.8 stars.

    A part of Rod Serling’s soul resides in M. Ainihi. Every stroke of the keyboard is another stroke of an imaginary brush painting a vivid, dark picture of fantasy, and horror. M. Ainihi guides you along a razor’s edge path veiled from both the real and the unreal. Stay the course, for there is no road map through the twists and turns of this author’s mind. The Warning Signs exist, but only in hind sight. This collection of short stories is an enjoyable read and an excellent introduction to M. Ainihi’s work. I’m looking forward to discovering more.

    A fast paced and enjoyable read. Some of the dark tales related here include a reluctant young werewolf, two sisters moving to a new home...that may be haunted and bodies found buried in a widow's back yard as well as many others. My personal favorite was "Dead Already," the author's ghost story. All the stories were unique and well written. This is the first work by this author that I've read and look forward to more. This is a great cure for when you need a reading quick fix that only short stories can fill.

    A nice collection of short stories. Takes you to strange and original fantasy worlds, where you’ll be introduced to all sorts of scary creatures. Great read!
