Not What I Expected
I am not going to lie I had a hard time with this read. I was not a fan of going back and fourth from the past and the present, but the novel would not have been the same. The past held the background of the two min characters which was needed.
Overall man what a great second chance story. It was so sweet and down to earth. It really felt like real life.
Sam and Maya were definitely meant to be together and that is very apparent throughout the entire book.
I am really glad that I made the choice to read this novel.
Loved it
Usually I am not a huge fan of second-chance romances, but this one was so adorable. I loved the cultural aspects of the book and how the author incorporated it in the book. The characters were also really enjoyable and I was rooting for them through out the whole read. Overall, super light and romantic read and I would definitely recommend.
