I'm not very good at talking about myself in the third person.

Isra is an eccentric author whose heart resides with the dark fantasy but also the paranormal genres. Cats and coffee are her main interests. She's also a pretty badass witch and often envisions new adventures involving dragons, witches, warlocks and really likes villains. When she's not writing she's rewatching Supernatural for the umpteenth time and thirsting over Jensen Ackles. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I found myself cheering for Logan and Serephina throughout the book. It was nice to read a book about a relationship where it is not perfect and it takes time and work. Can't wait to read more by Isra Sravenheart!

This story is about Seraphina, who is a witch/model, and Logan who is a photographer. Seraphina is initially still in love with her ex and there is another model that is in love with Logan. I found the characters to be interesting and I really wish that I had liked it better than I did, but I found the story line to be a little bit choppy. While I found the characters to be interesting, I thought they had some flaws and could have been made to seem better. I got the feeling that Logan just like Seraphina because of her looks. I don't know how he could have liked her any other way as she was constantly talking about her ex and how she was going to get back with him for the first part of the book. While Seraphina jumped back and forth with her love of her ex and her intrigue with Logan. She also made several comments about wanting to kill herself.
I felt that this book had potential, but it was lacking something for me and I had a hard time finishing it.

Who would ever think that I would read a book about the paranormal and romance and be happy that I read it. Great read. First time reading this genre and I must admit that I might read more. It was a breath of fresh air from my normal African American urban reads. I love all the details that was in the book. I made me feel as if I was a fly on the wall, in the actual book with the characters. The love between Serephina and Logan was something to be desired.

This is so different from the books I normally read. But I must admit I loved it. Logan made me mad with his back and front. But I'm glad he got it together in the end.

This book was an OK read. I would recommend this for teenagers that's how this story reads (too much back & forth). It was just a long drawn out story.

I enjoyed this book. It was different from the urban books I read. Logan and Seraphina had the Romero and Juliet love. He waited patiently and it paid off. That way they got to know one another. Better luck next time Imogene and Alastair.
