About the author

I was born in London, lived most of my life in the south of England. I only say that to excuse writing with a Sarff Lundin accint.
After a lifetime of not knowing what to do, RAF Officer, TV delivery driver, medical rep, trainer, computer guy … I'd even spent three summers running a naturist resort in Portugal. I decided to try something new and retired.
Lying by the pool in the South of France, a story started to take shape in my mind. Then the days got shorter, and the evenings longer, and I started to type. The string of random words turned into “The Uncovered Policeman.” Writing this story, I met the central characters, Bea being the most important. She nagged me into telling what turned into a series of 12 light, cosy romances with a cast of pleasant happy people, with quirky characters.
The New House trilogy, about a couple's first year of retirement in France, followed. “Almost a Year in Occitanie” - No, it is not autobiographical. OK, not very autobiographical.
More recently, Crooke and Loch launch their careers, solving mysteries and crimes in “The Summer of '71” and in a series of follow-up stories spanning the 1970s.
2020 marked the debut of another character … Melody. A lady of a certain age, a generous size and blinding intelligence, who first appears in "Problems and Passions."
The darkness of the great lockdown inspired some darker tales, for example "After The Event." As well as a few more escapist ones, such as "When The Music Stops" featuring the delightful Juliet Evans the singing solicitor

- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2023Book 3, In and Out of the Blues continues the easy and fun to read short stories about a Super-Cop. This series of books is perfect to have for short trips, especially to clothing optional beaches.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2016Very entertaining story with a touch of intruige with a naturism background.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2019This is another installment in the UNCOVERED POLICEMAN series. Bun is skilled at creating an eclectic mix of the adventures of naturist life and the procedures of police work. While the entire story held my interest, the account of a family honeymoon in the nude is worth the price of the whole book. Enjoyable and informative.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2019The third book in the “Rags to Riches” series by Ted Bun is a good read. This book is almost twice the length as the first two books, and presents a more respectable length story to engage the reader. The story has Bea going off to France, while Rags remains behind and goes back to work to get involved in a couple of cases. One of the cases involves some problems at a naturist beach, and the other in a major crime. Although the story was good, I noted that there are still a few too many grammatical errors, like in the previous books. A bit more proof reading might prevent that problem, and make the story flow better for the reader.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2017Another chapter in the series. It is well written and entertaining. The stories and characters are well developed and interesting.Who knows they may inspire you to try naturism,so get naked and enjoy the story.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2017A novella a day ends very late at night, or is it early morning. Couldn't stop reading until I reached the end. The French connection grows, as does Rags back problems. Is a new career in the making? Maybe, I will get the answer in the next book in the series.

Who isn't fond of a story with different story lines? Mix some international excitement with a spoonful of romance and top that off with a pinch or two of humor.
