Though the pair's first meeting is disastrous, they band together when powerful enemies come after Elias and are willing to kill to get what they want. As he and Leo work together to evade their vicious pursuers, blazing chemistry erupts between them. Near-death situations give rise to some intense emotions, but it remains somewhat dubious that these two would proclaim undying love after mere days of knowing each other. Still, the breakneck pacing and superbly executed manhunt plot makes for a thrilling page-turner. Readers who enjoy a heavy dose of suspense with their romance are in for a gripping time.

Thrilling ride!
This book is an Alaskan adventure full of suspense and life threatening situations. The action starts from the very beginning and never lets up. On top of that, you almost have two stories you are following. You've got the two main characters running for their life in the Alaskan wilderness and then you have this old lady named Amka that is doing everything she can to free the towns people from the same group that are chasing Leo and Elias. Even though the action was non-stop, it did take me a few chapters to really get into what was happening, and at times I felt Old Amka's mission to be more exciting. But...the further along I got, the more invested I got. I have not read the first book in the series, and I don't think you need to to read this book. I admit that after finishing Uncharted, I now want to read White Out. I like these characters and what they stand for.
