This was an interesting, though not quite plausible storyline. It was a fun read but I was really disappointed that it ended in a cliffhanger. I don't know when this became a popular way of writing but if I know ahead of time that you won't be getting the whole story I would rather not start reading.

I originally received this story as part of a free giveaway about a year before I am writing this review. At the time, I was new to reading online and was downloading free books left and right (broke as a joke lol). I was really getting into the story when I got to the end and I wanted to get to the next part of the story. I think that is a testament to a good serial series if you do not mind when you have to wait and read the next part. This story is hot and intriguing. You want to find out what happens next. Great storytelling. This is an honest review of an ARC. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I wanted to like Finn. Actually, I did like him, but was frustrated with how he went about trying to rescue Lily. I could feel their chemistry and could see how they were attracted to each other, but I don't know that the pull was that strong that he couldn't remember what he was trying to do. I hope to see them work a little more towards escape.
