    Wonderful quick read. Christopher gets lost and ends up at the Morgan farm stand. Mistaken for the late volunteer Santa. Then he see Lizzie, or Elizabeth. She was his first kiss. He promised to keep in touch, but life got in the way. Elizabeth recognized Christopher, but since he acted as if he didn’t know her so did she. Is the love they had as teenagers still there. Can they make it work with her living in Mudville and him in the city if they still do love each other? Come on in and find out

    Christopher found out he inherited his uncle farm in Mudville. He was surprise because he thought his mother was the closest relative. He remembered that he went and spent the summer with him and he met Lizzy. He had not forgot her Elizabeth still lived at home with her parents and wondered who would the farm. She hadn't been about to get over Chris. She sat a slightly for the kids to get pictures with Santa. When Chris got there he decided to help out a pretend to be Santa so the kids wasn't upset. They finally realized who each other was. She got a chance to go to the city and he kept the farm so they could get away together

    This is a quick second chance but to get there he had to play Santa for the day. He didn't know that she knew almost from the beginning who he was but didn't let on. She couldn't figure out why he was hiding who he was. What will happen when they finally figure it out?

    On his way to meet with the lawyers of his great uncle's estate, Christopher gets lost. He hasn't been to the farm since high school and has never traveled here alone. One thing was certain where he was is not the farm or the attorney's office. After trying unsuccessfully to contact the lawyer, Christopher gets back on the road and continues on, hoping for signs of civilization. Not far up the road he does find a Christmas tree lot. At least he should be able to get directions. What he didn't expect was a wealth of information on the real estate and the town's economy while he waited to be noticed. He also didn't expect to react to their assumption the way he does.

    However, just going along with being Santa for the afternoon has him seeing Lizzy again. His first love and the woman she is now attracts him even more.

    An interesting photoshoot, and a visit to the lawyer's later has Christopher staying longer than he anticipated in Mudville. He was finally going to see if there was more to the attraction he had with Lizzy, now Elizabeth.

    A delightful and fun Christmas story. I think I'm going to have to read the others in this Small Town Series.

    What a great second chance story. This book was short but very cute!

    Chris or Christopher was a fun character to read about. He has to return to sell his uncles farm but didn't expect to see his first crush again and boy had she changed.

    I loved how Elizabeth knew right away that Santa was Chris and how she played with him. I envy the forwardness of Elizabeth. She wasn't over the top but she was a woman who knew what she wanted.

    I can't wait to read the next in the series.

This is a sweet second chance story that is 23 years in the making. I picked this up because it looked fun but I admit that I haven't read the series. I must admit that after reading this story I want to know more about Mudville and its quirky characters who seem to have a penchant for gossip and good times.
